It got a license from the National Bank of Ethiopia and started doing long-term (life) insurance business in October 2008.
Ethio-Life continues to be the only specialized company in the life insurance sector in Ethiopia. Ethio-Life has decided to expand its services by including the company’s non-life (general) insurance products in its business portfolio.
Ethio-Life Insurance S.C. would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following vacant positions:
Job Title 1: Underwriting Officer-I
Required Qualification:
BA/BSc/LLB Degree in Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Management, statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University.
Work Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in insurance as an Underwriting Officer.
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Job Title 2: Internal Auditor
Required Qualification:
BA degree in Accounting or other related field of Study from a recognized University
Work Experience: A minimum of 1 (one) year relevant experience preferably in Insurance
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Job Title 3: Cashier-Secretary
Required Qualification:
Diploma/Level–IV/in Accounting field of Study from a recognized University/College.
Work Experience: A minimum of 1 (one) year related work experience in Business Organization. Experience in Insurance is preferable.

Job Title 4: Engineering Officer-I
Required Qualification:
BSC degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering from a recognized University.
Work Experience: A minimum of 1 (one) year relevant work experience in insurance.
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Job Title 5: Senior Internal Auditor
Qualification: BA degree in Accounting or other related field of Study from a recognized University
Work Experience: A minimum of 5 (five) years relevant experience in Insurance. Out of which 2 (two) years in the immediate lower grade or equivalent.
Workplace: Addis Ababa,
Job Title 6: Senior Human Resource Development Officer
Qualification: BA degree in Management, Economics or other related field of study from a recognized University.
Work Experience: A minimum of five (5) years related work experience in any business organization. Preferably in Insurance.
Workplace: Addis Ababa,
Job Title 7: Branch Manager- II
Qualification: BA/B.Sc/LLB Degree in Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Management and Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University.
Work Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years experience in insurance operation: Out of which two (2) years in the immediate lower grade or equivalent.
