Position 1: Store Keeper
Job Description:
Duration: One Year
The storekeeper will support the project team and procurement, logistics, and/or operations team with regular and special activities including store management, inventory management, office equipment maintenance, handling of petty cash, and keeping evidence-based records for all of the workflows under his/her responsibility.
Qualifications:
Diploma or higher education in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or related field
At least five years of relevant experience in supply chain/warehouse management, and inventory record, preferably with the NGO industry.
Experience in handling administrative tasks, including setting up and maintaining filing systems.
Fluency in the English language.
Proficiency in computer software, such as Windows, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge of computer networking systems, email systems, and the internet.
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Position 2: Procurement Officer
Job Description
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: Nine Months
The Procurement Officer will be responsible to facilitate all the program staff in the field and country office procurement and related logistics support as well as assisting the Finance & Administrative Manager. The officer is responsible for facilitating the procurement, and distribution of all procured items, and warehouse management for the program in line with the JSI/DHA operational procedures.
Qualifications:
B.A Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Management, and/or other relevant fields.
Minimum 3(three) years or more of proven and relevant work experience relevant to the position.
Strong communication (written & spoken) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with staff from diverse cultures.

Position 3: Operations & Logistics Officer
Job Description:
Duration: One year with the possibility of extension
The Operations & Logistics Officer is a full-time position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with frequent travel to program sites throughout Ethiopia. The major roles and responsibilities of the position include ensuring the overall quality, efficiency, and proactive administrative and logistical support services in the key areas of procurement of goods and services such as IT equipment, vehicle rentals as per JSI’s policies and procedures and in accordance with relevant Ethiopian government policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience in areas such as transport or logistics operations/management, procurement, etc.
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, management/ operations, procurement, transport, etc.
Knowledge of and experience with international development projects and or other international NGOs;
Experience in managing multiple staff under her/his direct supervision;
Basic computer skills in; word, excel, email, access, and related software required
Must be willing for rigorous reference and background check.
Fluency in Amharic and English is required.
Ability to work under pressure, deal with multiple tasks, and respect deadlines.
Able to work with minimum supervision, independently, and manage time efficiently

Position 4: Accountant
Job Description
Duration: One Year with the possibility of Extension
The Accountant reports to the Finance & Administrative Manager and is responsible for record-keeping of financial transactions, maintaining cash controls, handling checks and support purchasing, maintaining finance documents, filing, engage in the monthly field accounts processing. The accountant will work within the rules and regulations of the organization’s Financial Management, Organization policies and procedures, and in compliance with all Donor and Government rules and Legislation.

Qualifications
B.A. Degree in Accounting or business management with a minimum of five years’ work experience as an accountant. Experience working in international NGO’s is a plus.
Minimum five years of experience in accounting or finance field
Experience with international development funded projects preferred
Good knowledge of accounting and financial management.
Excellent skills in Excel and being able to access intranet are required.
Good knowledge of other MS applications and working on accounting software is a plus.
Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills, experience working with multiple projects is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Creative, Liaising & handling clients and stakeholders well is a plus
Ability to travel up to 10% time to regions throughout Ethiopia.

Position 5: Finance & Administrative Manager
Job Description:
Duration: One Year with the possibility of extension
The Finance & Administrative Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing the financial management, human resources as well as operations of the project, and ensuring that the financial, Administrative, and HR systems and internal controls are in place and in line with JSI/HQ policy and procedures and in compliance with all Donor and Government rules and Legislation. The Finance & Administrative Manager will serve as the focal person for all budget and disbursement processes of the JSI field office. S/he is expected to communicate and coordinate with other JSI projects when necessary.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
A master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or other relevant fields with at least 10 years of professional and related experience,
A minimum of eight years of experience in the administrative and financial management of international development assistance programs, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience working with USAID preferred
Experience with a wide variety of donors is preferred.
Demonstrated management experience in finance, operations, and HR required. At least five years’ experience serving in a management role, with supervisory responsibility.
Advanced knowledge and experience with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks).
Familiarity with the Google Suite is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10% time to regions throughout Ethiopia.

Position 6: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Job Description

Job Requirements
Graduate degree in public health, demography, statistics, or other relevant field and a minimum of five years working in the area of M&E.
Experience working on GAVI projects is a plus
Knowledge and experience of M&E for public health programs highly preferably in health information systems.
Previous work experience in the field of international public health (international NGO experience a plus), specifically working with health information systems.
Proven experience in data analysis techniques of both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Knowledge of statistical software such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS or STATA, or SAS is essential and database systems such as Microsoft Access are an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, fluent (written and spoken) in Amharic, and with excellent spoken and written English skills.
