Komari Beverage would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: – Sales Capability Development Manager- Readvert

Scope of Role:

The Sales Capability development is responsible to provide leadership in building capability in people, tools and processes that deliver increased competitiveness in sales teams and trade partners. Work with Sales Team Leaders to cascade new initiatives on capability   

The role is also responsible for training, development and motivation of all sales personnel so that defined levels of service quality to trade are achieved most professionally and cost-effectively.

Purpose of Role:

This role looks after the training and development and motivation of the sales organization. It is responsible for the development of periodic capability improvement programs, assessing the level of execution and service delivery to trade, challenging existing processes and working towards the improvement with stakeholders involved. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assess and develop sales Standard: he/she is responsible for the continuous assessment of the sales standards and practices, development and implementation of new ways of workings, standards, the process for a better trade service.
  • Sales Team capability Development: Develop and govern the successful delivery of the Capability Plan and ensure that the quality of training meets company standards both on content and delivery. Identifying functional Sales Capability competencies for the field-force across levels (from DSM to Distributor Sales Representative) and Creation of cutting-edge training content to meet the Competency gaps through both function-based training and Competency-based training.
  • Lead the coaching culture: Act as a lead coach for sales leaders and keep the coaching culture alive by ensuring Sales managers also spends time in trade coaching their team and modelling the behaviours the business wants to deliver the objectives.

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, business or related field of study.
  • A strong track record in Sales ideally with 3-5 years of experience preferably in the two areas of Sales at a management level is added advantage.
  • Strong Communication of English and Amharic
  • Strong understanding of all Selling Capabilities and ability to coach others in their application.
  • Previous experience of managing/leading teams either directly or indirectly.
  • Able to influence and build great relationships across the business.
  • A strong track record as a coach is critical.
  • Knowledge and experience of change management are particularly valuable.
  • Previous exposure to strategy development is valuable.
  • An accomplished people leader who is passionate about growing themselves and others
  • Proactive in decision makings
  • Very good Microsoft word and excel skills

Position 2: – Logistics Assistant

Scope of Role:

Under the direction of Logistics and Distribution Manager the Logistics Assistant is responsible for all warehouse operation activities including shipping and receiving, overseeing storage, deliveries, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, maintaining cleanliness and keeping the products organized and as such look after the property of the company.

Purpose of Role:

  • To ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors.
  • To stock the materials received from vendors and plant properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
  • To ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate method of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
  • To ensure a smooth issue of materials to the user department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Allocate locations with store demarcation and label (full-goods, quarantine on hold)
  • Manage target stock level
  • Perform inventory & cycle counts
  • Record full goods received from plant and issued to market, empties received from agents and issued to plant
  • Track stock transfer with plant
  • Prepare in advance for & undertake daily count and month end count timely & explain variances if any.
  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; Verifies that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
  • Reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
  • Keep stores, tags and tracks received goods, documents storage and transportation stock records.
  • Disseminate the supply in its designated areas; facilitate the loads and unloads of materials.
  • Makes in-house deliveries of requested orders to staff and maintains records of all in-house deliveries; Compiles records of supply transactions.
  • Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.
  • Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner and keeps out unauthorized people.
  • Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
  • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
  • Oversee forklift operators, temporary or contract workers as needed.
  • Perform the above and other related works as assigned by his/her supervisor.

Qualification and Experience Required

 Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Accounting/Management/ Purchasing and Supplies Management or related field of studies

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a store keeper/ warehouse officer with good inventory and warehouse management skill

 Skills:

  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures
  • Skill in effectively communicating and interacting with management and employees
  • Good Knowledge of ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Navision)
  • An awareness of safety, health and environment issues
  • Knowledge on stock management and record keeping
  • Strong analytical skills, results oriented, quick learner
  • Proactive approach to preventive and curative of any stock

Position 3: Territory Sales Manager (TSM) – Mekelle

Scope of Role:

The sales supervisor (TSM) is responsible for the performance of the sales in the territory. He/she is responsible for the volume and market share target, leading the sales representatives for the maximum achievement of volume and market share target, making sure day-to-day deliveries in the territory go uninterrupted, Trade assets in the territory are properly planned, distributed, and followed up for maintenance and use for the purpose. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Asses the territory for opportunities:- the sales supervisor is responsible for outlining the territory outlet dynamics using the territory database system, assisting the sales supervisors in setting outlet targets, outlet prioritization, route development and planning, identifying, growth opportunity areas, Allocate promotional and POSM resources between the areas in the territory, develop a group and individual coaching plans and schedules for each sales rep. conduct competitor trade practice tracking to understand the market dynamics and report on the changes to initiate action.
  • Plan for sales Execution and implementing the sales plan: – make sure the sales reps are ready in terms of skills, and resources required to do their job, and evaluate and validate each sales representative’s plan. Verify the POSM distribution and promotion outlets before communicating to the divisional sales manager. Follow up on the in-trade execution in his territory against the standard and take corrective actions.
  • Measurement of territory sales performance: – monitor volume and market share performance against target for the territory and key outlets in the territory. Make sure in-trade execution is going according to plan by each sales representative. Develop a territory report on volume, market share, POSM management, in-trade execution, competitors’ trade practice, trade opportunities and challenges, promotions conducted vs the objective and their contribution to sales and brand development.
  • Team works and participation: – promote an open, honest and respectful communication culture both up and down the hierarchy. Always make sure the team spirit is in check and the relationship between the team and the outlets are smooth and productive. Continuously coach the team not only on the day-to-day executions, identify gaps and take corrective actions on the spot.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor

Qualification and Experience Required: –

  • BA or BSC degree or higher with a minimum of two years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Good analytical skills, result-oriented, quick learner,
  • Entrepreneurial team player excited to contribute to help build Komari
  • Strong interpersonal communication and basic report-writing skills
  • Self-starter and result oriented
  • Demonstrated team-leading skills,
  • Proactive in decision makings
  • Basic Microsoft office and email skills.
