S.Sara Coffee would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: – Import & Fleet Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Working with vendors to ensure they meet quality standards;
  • Managing inventory levels by ensuring that products are ordered or produced in time to meet customer demand or seasonality requirements;
  • Developing long-term business relationships with suppliers in order to secure competitive pricing on key materials or services;
  • Analyzing data to identify trends that may indicate a need for change within a company’s supply chain;
  • Overseeing logistics to ensure that products are delivered as promised;
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers to ensure that costs fit within budgets;
  • Coordinating with marketing teams to develop new products or improve existing ones based on consumer feedback;
  • Coordinating with the shipping department to arrange the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses or retail locations;
  • Coordinating with the clearing agent(s) for smooth clearance of goods at customs;
  • Maintaining vehicles for deliveries;
  • Deciding whether to lease or buy vehicles;
  • Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet;
  • Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits;
  • Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules;
  • Registering and licensing all vehicles under their management;
  • Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits;
  • Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency;
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection;
  • Complying with local transport laws and regulations;
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency;
  • Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules;
  • Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service;
  • Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency;
  • Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft;
  • Performs other duties assigned by management, as required.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor Degree in related field with 2-5 years’ experience in import and fleet management.

Requirements and skills:

  • At best, practical experience in a similar position;
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies;
  • Well-developed communicational skills and a customer orientation;
  • Knowledge about budget management, local & international trade and taxations;
  • Ability to easily comprehend and organize shipment processes;
  • Experience in the transportation industry;

Position 2: Sales and Marketing Department Head

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic objectives related to sales and marketing functions.
  • Build initiatives for establishing a brand and corporate identity.
  • Develop marketing plans, such as promotional events and product launches.
  • Create and maintain sales and marketing budgets.
  • Research the market, understand customer requirements and analyze trends.
  • Offer expert advice for advertising campaigns and PR activities.
  • Establish partnerships to increase sales and collaborate with media platforms.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to hire and train staff.
  • Assign sales territories and targets to the sales team.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to update management with sales progress.
  • Network and socialize with important clients to ensure sustained patronage.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Attend business seminars, conferences and workshops to track industry trends.
  • Analyze and respond to competitors’ strategies and changes in the industry.
  • Maximize value from referral networks and business connections.
  • Evaluate the performance of sales and marketing personnel.
  • Coordinate with the business development team.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management, as required.

Education & Experience Required:

At least Bachelor degree in related field, Masters preferred. 7-10 years in water industry, with 3+ years at department head position.

Position 3: HR Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learning & Development (50% of your time will be dedicated to!);
  • Create learning and development strategy and plan in line with the HR strategic agenda;
  • Deliver new learning programs to foster the growth and evolution of our team;
  • Deliver interactive and engaging training while ensuring that the content meets business needs;
  • Evaluate training solutions based on effectiveness, ROI, client’s perceived value and longevity;
  • Implementation, set up and maintenance of LMS; define content, scheduling and tracking attendance and completion;
  • Seek out the latest research and best practices and identify key trends; 
  • Train hiring managers and HR staff on how to select, manage, evaluate, and retain diverse employees;
  • Measure and forecast diversity metrics; 
  • Implement and develop organizational development programs and projects, such as change management, team engagement, welcoming and onboarding, recognition, appreciation of contribution, etc.;
  • Team, Client, Talent  & Project management;
  • Coach, mentor, and develop HR team; 
  • Drive & execute HR Department annual goals set by management;
  • Support HR generalist in union negotiations and management; 
  • Oversee and negotiate vendor and contract management as required;
  • Build strong relationships with key Managers within your service lines of responsibility;
  • Provide guidance to People Leaders for all phases of the Performance and Reward Cycle including Annual Reviews, Calibration, Goal Setting and Reward Planning;
  • Provide a proactive HR consultation service to all people managers advising them on all issues that arise in their teams;
  • Provide coaching, advice and approval for employee relations, performance management and terminations;
  • Participate in succession planning and workforce planning initiatives;
  • Compliance & system management (This is part of your everyday!);
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment and labor laws – regional & federal;
  • Coordinate the development, maintenance and application of procedures and policies related to good human resources practices.
  • Support other Directors and Managers through their periods of transformation;
  • Identify & facilitate process improvement projects to drive efficiency;
  • Any other task assigned by management;

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in local languages (Amharic & Oromo) and English;
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience, 2-3 of which in team management;
  • Proven track record in building and developing HR processes;
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices;
  • Highly motivated self-starter;
  • Multi-tasking with the ability to remain calm during high volume periods;
  • Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability;
  • A master in the art of asking the right questions to find the true sources of the organization’s issues;
  • An outstanding popularizer who knows how to orchestrate various channels of communication to get the organization’s messages to everyone, without misrepresentation!
  • A dynamic and engaging leadership style that fosters strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication;
