Position 1: Senior Corporate Governance Expert
JOB SUMMERY
Under the supervision of the Director for Institute of Directors, the Senior Corporate Governance Expert designs and initiates effective mechanisms for successful achievement of Corporate Governance & Directorship Programs. He/she encourages and promotes the implementation of the Ethiopian Corporate Governance by prominent Ethiopian business entities. He/she also plays proactive role in the development of the institute by the way of organizing training, developing manuals and codes, researches, workshops and fund raising activities
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: BA/MA degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Project management and related fields of Studies from Recognized higher learning Institution
Work Experience: Six years of experience for BA holders and 4 years of experience for MA holders in similar positions
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
Demonstrated technical ability, sound judgement, and ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels;
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills;
Good knowledge of economic or Legal research methods and legal ethics;
Ability to act in professional and ethical manner
Attention to detail
Persuasion skills
Event management skills
Media relations skills
Position 2: Consultant
JOB SUMMERY
Under the supervision of the Manager, Consultancy & Marketing Department, the Consultant is responsible for conducting consultancy service need assessment, initiation of consultancy activities, preparation of consultancy proposals, data collection and document review, delivering consultancy services to the client
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: BA/MA degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing Accounting, Accounting and finance, Economics, Project management and related fields of Studies from Recognized higher learning Institution
Work Experience: Eight years of related experience for BA holders and six years of experience for MA holders
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
Understanding of the functioning of business organizations
Knowledge of the latest approaches of consulting
Report writing skills
Active listening
Fluency in English Language both speaking and writing
Team work
Consultancy certification is required
Position 3: Director, Trade Fair & Investment Management Department
JOB SUMMERY
Under the supervision of the DSG of Membership and Business Services, the Director of Trade and Investment Promotion Department is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling and supervising the entire activities of the Department. He/she prepares plan and budget to launch trade fair programs and other business events; fulfills financial, human and logistics resources; handles foreign and domestic correspondences to invite potential participants in trade fair programs and business events; and follows up execution of same. He/she also arranges adequate and proper venues and space where the programs take place
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: BA/ MA in Management, Economics or related field
Work Experience: 11 Years for BA holder and 9 years for MA holder of relevant experience out of which 4 years in supervisory Position.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote team approach;
Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels;
Good conceptual understanding of trade fair and event management;
Firm belief in teamwork and gender equality;
Basic computer skills;
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
