Addis Eyita is a private company that provides business and investment consulting services, business training and intellectual advice in various fields of work, and import and export firms, and was established in January 2007 based on the Ethiopian Commercial Law.

Addis Eyita Business Consultancy would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Agro Processing Expert

Job Summary፡

 The Agro Processing Expert will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and guidance to our clients in the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agro processing techniques, technologies, and best practices, along with a strong background in project management and consulting.

Detail Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on agro processing techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ agro processing operations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of agro processing operations.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement new agro processing facilities, including layout, equipment selection, and process flow.
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in agro processing to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for clients’ staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in agro processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the consulting firm to ensure seamless delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and recommendations to clients, highlighting key findings and proposed solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements related to agro processing and provide guidance to clients accordingly.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agro Processing, Food Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years and above working experience as an Agro Processing Expert in the area of Chicken farming, cattle fattening, Agriculture preferably in a consulting firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of agro processing techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

Workplace: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Project Feasibility Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Project Feasibility Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and developing comprehensive business plans that align with required goals and objectives. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including technical experts, training coordinator, data collector customer service agent and investors, to gather information and analyze data to create well-structured and business plans.

Detail Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to gather relevant data for business plan development.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their objectives and requirements for the business plan.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and operations to effectively incorporate them into the business plan.
  • Create detailed financial projections, including revenue forecasts, expense budgets, and cash flow analysis.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the business plan and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Ensure that the business plan is aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals and objectives.
  • Present business plans to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders, and effectively communicate the key findings and recommendations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented business plans and make necessary adjustments or improvements as needed.
  • Giving professional comments on internally or externally developed business plan.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and assess government policies, rules and regulations relevant to desired projects.
  • As required make necessary adjustments or improvements as needed on a developed Business plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 0 to 2(two) years’ experience in developing comprehensive business plans or Project Feasibility Analyst preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
