Addis Finder Trading PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Main Duties and Tasks

  • Maintain complete and accurate supporting documents for all financial transactions.
  • Accomplish coding for payment vouchers, Issue Sales Invoices and Receipts
  • Follow-up commission Receivables from Ayat S.co (our major client) and go to the company when necessary for collection in a timely manner.
  • Keep all records on our IT system
  • Prepare all monthly required tax declaration and feed in online declaration format of ERCA before the Ethiopian calendar date of 25
  • Facilitate parking services for staffs and keeping their record correctly to settle liabilities.
  • Prepare Monthly Payroll, Cheque payment vouchers
  • Keep the record apartment buyer’s payment receipts on the given spreadsheet format on the same date shown in the receipt.
  • Perform any other assignments provided by immediate supervisor and other  managers
  • Holding petty cash and pay for approved and accurate requests.
  • Pay monthly bills like tel. bills, utilities, office rent and other payables on timely basis.
  • Follow-up Accounts Payable and calculate agents’ commission payment on monthly basis and transfer to Accountant for Check preparation.
  • Keep record of Sales agent detail information on the given spreadsheet and calculate sales agent Commission.
  • Follow-up Accounts Payable and calculate agents’ commission payment on monthly basis and transfer to Accountant for Check preparation.
  • Keep record of Sales agent detail information on the given spreadsheet and calculate sales agent Commission.
  • Assist Accountant for annual fixed asset count and perform other duties as required given from immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

BA Degree in Accounting/ Accounting and Finance or related field of study with 1-2years experience

Competencies and Professional skills required

Experience working with double entry system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Analytical skill and due concepts of IFRS

 Microsoft applications and Peachtree

Ability to work under pressure

Position 2: General Service Officer

Main Duties and tasks

  • Performing General Services, Logistics and property and resource administration in the company
  • Ensure that office furniture and equipment inventory is regularly updated and ensure regular maintenance of office equipment as and when needed;
  • Ensure the right way of property management and regular maintenance of all office vehicles, including vehicles management, repairs of property or utilities in the offices
  • Lead work space arrangements for staff, facilitating meetings, configuring office and common areas, and organize furniture and other procurement, repairs and improvements as needed;
  • Work closely with Finance team to ensure an annual fixed asset report is prepared, then updated based on regular inventory count the disposal properties
  • Work closely with HR office for tracking issues related to entitlements/working tools
  • Ensure right and timely delivery of goods/materials and office equipment in the company
  • Check the safety standards of properties and controlling mechanism is in place, at all working locations (vehicle, office equipment like computers telephone printers, photocopy machines.
  • Managing and controlling employee’s work place, cafeteria and its cleanness
  • Initiates purchase request as required when the stock reach re- order level receives, store and issue items purchased
  • Collects and effects electric and water bills, assures the continuous provision of water and power supply to the office
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Superior

Job Requirements

BA Degree in management or related fields with 2+years proven experience in General service administration

Position 3: Accountant

Main Duties and Tasks

  • Perform collection and preparation of monthly financial reports and their completeness
  • Maintain journal and general ledger entries or account records, execute sales related or other financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements on time and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual      closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Execute the accounting policies and procedures to ensure proper recording & controlling of the accounts.
  • Verify, upload and keep all financial or transactional data and records on our IT system
  • Compile and verify all apartment buyer’s payment receipts Record are recorded on t the given spreadsheet format on the same date shown in the receipt
  • Verify coding of payment vouchers and receipts, Prepare Journal Vouchers
  • Perform commission payments, posting in Peachtree accounting software and issue   monthly reports
  • Prepare all monthly required tax declaration and feed in online declaration format of ERCA before the Ethiopian calendar date of 15      
  • Prepare Monthly Payroll and settle on or between 28 and 30 of Ethiopian calendar
  • Responsible to reconcile bank statements with accounting records
  • Count Fixed Asset once in a year and record newly purchased assets in the registration book
  • Receive bank transaction document (bank advice, deposit slip, bank statement), daily cash sheet and check the completeness
  • Perform any other assignments provided by immediate supervisor and other managers.
