Afro European Engineers – AEE would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: – Business and Finance Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business management in close collaboration with top management including areas of marketing, human resources, accounting and finance.
- Handling all administrative tasks independently or in a team as deemed necessary
- Handling all business-related tasks in a modern office environment including support to top management
- In consultation with top management, undertaking and managing strategic projects towards incapacitating organization with continuously bettered team spirit, internal quality management, customer service and financial performance.
- Supporting operations team for general contract administration
- Working according to the values and quality system of AEE and 3K Engineering partners
- Willing to learn new skills and innovatively apply oneself to accomplish the objectives and vision of AEE
Remuneration:
Attractive pay, negotiable within the company pay scale range.
Contract Period: one year with possibility of permanent employment afterwards
Job Requirements
Purpose of Employee: The purpose of the person filling in the post is to assist top management in all business-related endeavors, handle all administrative and finance related matters.
Qualification and Profile:
- Female applicants with a minimum of bachelor’s from Business Administration, Management, Finance and Accounting Field or similar field from a renowned university
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (after graduation)
- Cumulative grade point average of 2.75/4.00 or more
Personal Competencies and Skills:
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Good math skills
- Good computer skills
- Good human skills
- Good learner (eagerness and quickness)
- Good professional ethics
- Good personal management
Workplace: Addis Ababa., Bole Subcity, In Front of Skylight Hotel
Position 2: Accounting and Finance Intern
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All accounting and financial tasks
- Financial management in close collaboration with top management
- Business management support including areas of marketing and human resources
- Handling all administrative tasks independently or in a team as deemed necessary
- Handling all business-related tasks in a modern office environment including support to top management
- In consultation with top management, undertaking and managing strategic projects towards incapacitating organization with continuously bettered team spirit, internal quality management, customer service and financial performance.
- Supporting operations team for general contract administration
- Working according to the values and quality system of AEE and 3K Engineering partners
- Willing to learn new skills and innovatively apply oneself to accomplish the objectives and vision of AEE.
- Learning and working on business management tasks when and if there is temporary absence of dedicated employee due to planned and unplanned absences of dedicated employee.
Remuneration:

Contract Period: six months to one year with possibility of permanent employment afterwards

Position 4: Structural Engineering Intern
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake in a team and independently, all structural engineering tasks including structural calculations, sketches, structural CAD and BIM, preparation of structural specs, preparation of structural BoQ, preparation of cost estimates, control of construction costs, control of structural construction
- Work with team and project leaders to the holistic satisfaction of client with an eye for optimization of functionality, economy, structural safety levels and aesthetics.
- Support project leaders in their tasks
- Working according to the policies, values and quality system of AEE and 3K Engineering partners
- Willing to learn new skills and innovatively apply oneself to accomplish the objectives and vision of AEE
- The candidate is preferred to have thesis specialty or have the willingness to develop one specialty area from the following list: structural steel, structural timber, structural dynamics and wind, structural materials (structural façade, fire and moisture protection of structural materials), reinforced and post-tensioned concrete or other structural engineering specialty as deemed relevant.

Job Requirements:
Purpose of Employee: The purpose of the person filling in the post is to do all structural engineering tasks including structural design, structural detailing, structural cost control and structural supervision towards the satisfaction of customers.
Qualification and Profile:
M.Sc. in Civil Engineering with focus on structural engineering (graduating class encouraged)
Zero years of experience
Personal Competencies and Skills:
Postgraduates are assumed to already have the following skills:
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Good computer programming skills are desired but not mandatory
- Good BIM and CAD skills
- Good human skills
- Good learner (eagerness and quickness)
- Good professional ethics
- Good personal management
