Afro Sweden real Estate would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Site Engineer/Supervisor
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and estimate potential safety hazards
- Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as sub-contractors
- Educating site workers on construction safety requirements and accident protocol
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries
- Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance
- Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed
- Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design safety and budget specifications
- Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar.
- 2 Years Experience in a similar role.
- Additional certificates or licenses may be required.
- Knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
- Great leadership and organizational skills.
- Superb project management skills.
- Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn.
Position 2: Office Engineer
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support project manager with preparation and maintenance of construction schedules
- Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records and logs
- Oversee and review daily field inspector reports
- Track documents and manage project issues and conditions
- Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes
- Prepare monthly project status reports
- Assist project manager with payment requisition review
- Track and process all contract payments
- Review, analyze and make recommendations for contractor claims
- Review and monitor contractor payroll
- Prepare final documents, ensuring project documentation is processed in a timely manner and is retrievable
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification:
- BA degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology and Management
- 2 years of relevant office engineer experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to manipulate and edit data and create reports
- Knowledge of construction plans, specifications and estimate preparation, review processing & compliance requirements for construction projects
- Knowledge of construction materials methods and procedures
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail
Position 3: Sales and Marketing Head
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and execute marketing and sales strategy
- Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements
- Achieves marketing and sales operational activities by contributing marketing and sales information
- Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets
- Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertisements
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Manages company websites and social media accounts
- Creates content in the form of blog articles, website copy and ads
- Assist and reviews all contracts before sending them to the client
- Assists the construction project manager in the execution of the management plan for the assigned projects
- Carries out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Helps problem-solve issues and suggests ways to improve the project
- Organizes, files and maintains all current project documents
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Marketing Management or related fields
- 2 – 4 Years of relevant experience in sales and marketing
- Ability to work under pressure
- Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft suite
- Exceptional clerical skills and strong business acumen
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Skilled collaborator
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment while being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to multitask
- Strong understanding of current marketing and sales concepts
