Position 1: Branch Manager Grade – I
Place of Work: Meti, Mizan Teferi, Wolkite
Employment Type: Full-Time
Purpose of the Job: To achieve sustainable growth and profitability of the Bank through cross selling the Bank’s products & services; acquiring & retaining customers, improving customer services and building strong customer relationships to maximize resources mobilization efforts; managing overall retail banking operations at the assigned branch.
Generic Functions:
Prepare /review work plans / budgets of the branch and monitor its execution;
Embody the bank’s good culture & corporate image ;
Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by same and manage disciplinary concerns;
Provide services as per the service level agreement , follow- up & monitor subordinates to do the same ;
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
Mentor and coach subordinates towards effective career development;
Specific Functions:
Plan and lead the enhancement of the resource mobilization activity of the branch by organizing and effectively coordinating the branch workforce;
Check whether the Branch’s books of accounts are in balance; review Income and Expense Summary Accounts of the Branch and apply strict follow-up on controllable expenses;
Ensure that transactions are authorized immediately and end-of-business cycle processes are done on a timely basis
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.
Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager or 7 years of relevant banking experience of which at least 2 years as Senior Officer in banking operation position.
Position 2: Internal Control Officer I
Place of Work: Teppi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Purpose of the Job: To ensure that the overall branch banking operation is in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations by conducting procedural audit at the branch; and to contribute in ensuring the internal control system of the Bank
Generic Functions:
Embody the bank’s good culture & corporate image
Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports /information
Provide services as per the service level agreement
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set
Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
Specific Functions:
Examine and analyze proper execution of operations of the branch in line with its operating policies and procedures
Sort and take machine listed run ups of cash and non-cash transactions of saving, current, special saving, fixed time deposit , foreign and loan account daily tickets and compares the result with the balance on the subsidiary account daily posting journal;
Check for pre -audit and post- audit as required of saving, current, special saving, CDT, loan account daily tickets and fund transfers (CPOs and TTs) and verify the balance of subsidiary trial balance accounts against the General Ledger
Check the opening of new accounts and relating supporting documents & maintains and keeps custody of duplicate specimen signature cards
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Finance and Economics, Marketing Management or any other related fields
Experience: 2/two year’s relevant banking experience
Position 3: Security Guard – I (Female)
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Purpose of the Job: To support the Bank’s operation through maintaining safety and security of the organization and its personnel, and ensuring secured customer services with welcoming environment.
Generic Functions:
Patrolling and securing the area and ensuring the protection of properties and facilities
Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
Specific Functions:
Avert inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies and damaged property;
Use radio or other communication devices in a clear and concise manner, if appropriate;
Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations and incidents;
Handle other related duties as may be required
Job Requirement:
Qualification: 8th Grade Complete
Experience: two/2 years of relevant experience in Military/Police service
OR
Qualification: 10th/12th Grade Complete
Experience: four/4 years of experience as a lady searcher
Age: Between 25-50
