Amhara Bank SC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Customer Service Executive – II
Place of Work: Balchi, Lemi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Purpose of the Job: To enhance customer satisfaction by handling front line customer service activities with due care and maximum efficiency ; increase the Branch’s resource mobilization effort by cross-selling the Bank’s products and services.
Generic Functions:
- Enhance the strong business relationship with customers and cross sell the bank’s positive image to the community;
- Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance;
- Provide services as per the service level agreement;
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank;
Specific Functions:
- Engage and perform customer recruitment and account opening activities
- Administer the Primary Vault dually with Branch Operation Manager/ Branch Manager;
- Receive, verify, lodge and withdraw cash to/from Primary and Secondary Vault;
- Receive or dispatch consignment of cash from/ to the Treasury;
- Verify the daily cash receipts and cash bricks are in order, wrapped and initialed
- Retrieve customer signatures, pictures and verify customers,
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.
Work Experience: 1 year of experience in banking operation as CSO, CSR, CSE, or related position.
Position 2: Senior IT Security Administrator
Place of Work: Head Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Purpose of the Job: To ensure the security of the Bank’s information assets and technology resources through developing and implementing security policy & procedures.
Generic Functions:
- Implement and maintain security controls;
- Identify and solve potential and actual security problems;
- Assess the current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements;
- Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements;
- Prepare reports and action plans in the event that a security breech does occur;
- Monitor and ensure that the Bank’s information technology resources are appropriately protected from unauthorized destruction, alteration and access;
Specific Functions:
- Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set;
- Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank;
- Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance;
- Implement timely corrective action on deficiencies and issues that have been raised or reported by different internal and external regulatory bodies;
- Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BSc in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other related fields.
Work Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry of which Two (2) years on officer position
Position 3: Senior MIS Officer
Place of Work: Head Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Job Position: Senior MIS Officer
Purpose of the Job: To ensure all reporting needs of the business team to meet regulatory requirements, track performance and decision making in a timely manner.
Generic Functions:
- Learn and understand a broad range of data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
- Work closely with the team to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making.
- Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
- Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis.
- Understand and write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data.
Specific Functions:
- Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely.
- Analyze findings and work with other departments to meet their requirements.
- Participate in implementing new or upgrade of a data analysis software.
- Manage and Administer data management system
- Ensure the system availability at all times.
- Perform performance tuning activity to ensure the services are up and running at all times.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Job Requirement:
Qualification: BSc in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other related fields.
Work Experience: Five (5) years of demonstrated experience.
Position 4: Security Guard – I (Female)
Place of Work: Enewari, Chiro
Employment Type: Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Purpose of the Job: To support the Bank’s operation through maintaining safety and security of the organization and its personnel, and ensuring secured customer services with welcoming environment.
Generic Functions:
Patrolling and securing the area and ensuring the protection of properties and facilities
Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
Specific Functions:
Avert inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies and damaged property;
Use radio or other communication devices in a clear and concise manner, if appropriate;
Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations and incidents;
Keep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace security;
Handle other related duties as may be required.
Job Requirement:
Qualification: 8th Grade Complete
Experience: two/2 years of relevant experience in Military/Police service
OR
Qualification: 10th/12th Grade Complete
Work Experience: four (4) years of experience as a lady searcher
Age: Between 25-50
