Amhara Bank SC would like to invite competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following qualification to be hired on a permanent basis.
Position 1: Branch Cash supervisor – I
Workplace: Bistema, Chagni, Motta, Mersa, Liguama, Kemissie, Gondar, Bahir Dar
Essential Functionality:
Administer the Primary Vault dually with supervisors,
Ensure cash records are fully reconciled with account records,
Disburse cash to designated Bank clerks,
Collect surplus cash from Bank clerks,
Keep records of amounts received and paid and regularly check the cash balance against record
Job Requirement:
Qualifications: BA in Accounting, Accounting & finance, Banking & Insurance, Banking & finance, Business Administration, Management, or other related fields.
Work Experience: 5 years of experience in branch operations in banking industry, of which at least 1 year as Cashier or Senior Customer Service Officer.
Position 2: Manager, Branch operation
Place of Work: Bichena, Haik, Motta
Essential Functionality:
Ensures and ascertains the intactness of records of books of accounts on daily basis,
Ensures that all daily transaction tickets are in agreement with System output,
Validates and authorizes deposit/payment of Financial Instruments,
Dispatches/Receives cheques and Payment Instruments of other banks to/from Finance Department,
Keeps custody of daily transaction and account opening documents.
Job Requirement:
Qualifications: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management and related fields.
Work Experience: 6 years of experience in the Banking Industry of which 2 years as Senior Banking Operation or equivalent position.
Position 3: Branch Manager Grade – I
Place of Work: Mida, Rema
Essential Functionality:
Lead in the development and revision of the branch office’s functional strategy aligned with the business level strategy of the Bank;
Plan and lead the resource mobilization activity of the Branch by organizing and coordinating the branch work force in an effective manner.
Support regular checks on service delivery at the branch through methods such as customer survey at the branch to determine customers ‘perception & experience of the Bank’s service;
Ensure an attractive banking service is delivered and maintained;
Plan and lead the resource Mobilization activity of the Branch by organizing and coordinating the branch work force in an effective manner
Aggressively engages in marketing and promotional activities,
Job Requirement:
Qualifications: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management and any other related fields.
Work Experience: 7(seven) years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager.
Position 4: Branch Manager Grade – I
Workplace: Dargie
Essential Functionality:

Workplace: Chagni, Motta, Bistema, Liguama, Kemissie, Mersa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Amhara Saint, Andabit, Bati, Harbu(Bereka), Ebinat, Wogel Tena, Logia, Sekota, Ataye, Fetra, Majete, Mida, Rema
Essential Functionality:
Engage and perform customer recruitment and account opening activities
Initiates cash transfer from/to cash,
Receives and delivers physical cash from and to Casher,
Collects/pays cash and debit/credit the respective accounts,
Checks and balance physical cash with the Casher,
Retrieve customer signatures, pictures and verify customers and,
Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Qualifications: BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, and related fields.
Work Experience: 1 year of experience in banking operation as CSO, CSR, CSE or related position.
Position 7: Customer Service Executive – III
Place of Work: Majete
Essential Functionality:
