Position 1: Credit Follow-Up Officer

Responsibilities:

  • A Monitor the repayment activities of all credit members.
  • Follow-up with members who are falling late on their payments.
  • Answer inquiries and provide assistance on loan repayment matters.
  • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with delinquent customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all follow-up activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong Proven experience in credit follow-up or collections.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and credit procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

Job Requirement

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Related Fields from a well-known University with CGPA >2.5

Position 2: – Journalist

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and research information on relevant topics for accurate and exciting news articles or reports.
  • Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, members, and experts to gather insights.
  • Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging articles that comply with journalistic standards and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, financial news, and regulatory changes related to cooperatives and the financial sector.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas and develop compelling story angles and Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality content production
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and deliver high-quality content consistently.

Requirements:

Position 3: – Executive Secretary

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct callers to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer their question for greet visitors, provide them with necessary information, and ensure their needs are met, handle visitor registration and maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, faxes, and other communications.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments and meetings, arrange conference calls, and coordinate travel arrangements, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Responsible for organizing and archiving documents (Data Entry and Record-Keeping).

Position 4: – Credit Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
  • Analyze financial data and credit reports to determine loan eligibility and risk level
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Oversee the credit application process, including loan origination, underwriting, and documentation
  • Monitor loan portfolios and proactively identify any potential credit risks
  • Collaborate with members and internal stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed credit decisions

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment
  • Familiarity with credit scoring models and loan origination software like Teminos T-24.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proven track record in managing credit portfolios and driving results

Position 5: – Information Technology Department Head

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, control and directs on Network and Hardware infrastructure section, Software Infrastructure section including software development and operation of core banking system
  • Direct the design, development and implementation of the AWACH’s IT department Strategy and system.
  • Oversees, control and manage the electronical entire information systems in the organization;
  • Train, coach and mentor Information Technology employees, communicates job goals, and evaluate performance of the IT systems and develops improvement ideas and manage the IT team;
  • Ensures backup systems are functioning smoothly and accesses to network are controlled;
  • Determine issue areas and promptly generate effective solutions;
  • Conduct periodic Information technology audit systems and evaluate and correct findings;
  • Ensure information security, safeguard resources and ascertain that proper control mechanisms are put in place;
  • Safeguard resources, ensure information security, ensure control mechanisms are in place and functioning properly;
  • Utilize annual budget and ensure that it is used as intended and expected results are attained;
  • Direct and oversee all IT /Business Solutions related projects to ensure that they are delivered and deployed cost effectively;

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of computer systems and equipment, ensure their proper functioning and optimal performance. Develop maintenance strategies and schedules, coordinating with vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance contracts, manage the inventory of computer assets, diagnose and resolving computer system faults, document maintenance activities and records, manage a team of maintenance personnel, implementing continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Oversee the system’s availability, stability, and security to support the banking operations. Oversee system configuration and customization, coordinating with vendors for system upgrades and enhancements, manage user access and permissions, monitoring system performance and resolve any disruptions or issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, manage system integrations with other banks and banking applications, oversee data backup and disaster recovery processes, conducting user training and support,
  • Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems maintaining information security and business continuity;
  • Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.

  • Prepare, submit and implement annual plan and Budget
  • Follow up telecommunications infrastructure development plans and projects.
  • Follow up the legal, policy and strategies developed by concerned stakeholder and regulatory bodies on information technology to be compliance with of institute technology system and manage the IT Vendor relations.
  • Manage Multiple projects; plans, staffs, prioritizes and manages all phases of implementation for assigned projects; directs the design, development and implementation of new projects: establishes budgets and timelines to Implement new of enhanced equipment’s, systems, programs or projects and monitors progress
  • Generate and prepare overall department performance report for the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • The IT Department head shall plan, coordinate and lead the activities of software infrastructure management section, network and hardware management section and cyber security services.
  • He takes the initiative to enhance the department’s customer service. He will Supports all employees in the department in executing their duties optimally and effectively.
  • The department head evaluates the performance of employees directly accountable to him and ratifies the performance evaluation undertaken by his subordinates for employees in their respective sections and services

Job Requirement

Qualification

  • MSC/BSC in Computer Science, MIS, software engineering.
  • Certified in Certified in two or more of the following certifications is a plus;

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM)

  • Information Technology Management and Leadership Professional (ITMLP)

Knowledge

  • Excellent understanding of information analysis, technical management, and computer hardware/software systems;
  • Knowledge of data governance and data center management;
  • Practical knowledge of network administration, network installation, Cyber security and computer networks;
  • Great capacity in employee relation and people management;
  • Good budget management knowledge and skill;
  • Good planning, communication, and reporting knowledge and skill;

Work Experience:

For MSC (5 years) or if it is BSC (8 Years) proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant IT experience;

Served as Department Head for Banking or financial institution for a minimum 3 years;

Proven experience on cyber security and related information security tasks.
