Position: The Chief Corporate Finance And Advisory Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Capital Market regulations and securities operations
- Proven expertise in M&A, financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets
- CISI Level 1 certification (mandatory); CFA, ACCA, or CPA preferred
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of corporate finance mandates including M&A, capital raising, and valuations
- Provide strategic financial advisory to corporate, institutional, and government clients
- Oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction documentation
- Ensure compliance with ECMA, ESX, and internal policies
- Develop and implement departmental strategy aligned with company goals
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to product innovation
- Lead and mentor the corporate finance team, fostering a culture of excellence
- Manage risk, enforce internal controls, and uphold ethical standards
