BGI Ethiopia would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Junior Operator – Production (Fresh Graduates)
Qualifications:
- The position requires a minimum of Bachelors Degree in Food science, food technology, food engineering, Industrial chemistry, chemical engineering, or Related fields
- 0-2 years’ experience in an FMCG manufacturing shop floor setting
- Ability to manage well under pressure while staying true to the company values.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on any task.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Reliable and punctual – must adhere to attendance and absenteeism policy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work while multitasking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to receive regular feedback and act upon it accordingly.
- Demonstrated drive for learning and teaching/sharing best practices with others
- Basic use of PC skills such as MS office, excel, word, and email
Location: Hawassa
Position 2: Driver (Female Candidates Only)
Qualifications:
- The position requires a minimum of 10/12th Grade Complete and automobile driving license.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Amharic.
- Knowledge of French language will be an advantage.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Data Encoder
Qualifications:
- The position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology or food science or manufacturing technology or IT
- 2 years’ experience
- Familiarity with factory or industrial setting
- Awareness of safety and food hygiene practice
Location: (Zebidar), Gubre
Position 4: Sales System Specialist
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Accounting and Finance/ Management/Marketing Management/Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG preferably to have 1-year experience of application development.
- Fluency in Microsoft package
- Ground knowledge of sales operations
- Experience with Sales force automation is an asset.
- Field experience in sales will be an added advantage.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proactivity
- Working under tight time deadlines.
- Teamwork
- Advance Excel Skill.
- Good command of communication in English and Amharic (writing, reading, speaking)
