Position 1: CMAM MHN- Nurse
Job Requirements
V. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOW HOW)
A) Education/Training
Required:
- Degree in Nursing.
- 3 years of relevant work experience for degree holders in Nursing.
- 2 years relevant work experience for second degree in Nursing.
B) EXPERIENCE
Required:
- At least two years emergency nutrition related work experience
- Experience in community-based nutrition intervention preferably in emergency such as CTC and TSFP
- Knowledge and practical experience of the national/international therapeutic /supplemental feeding protocols/guidelines
- Experience in standard nutrition data management and reporting
- Skill in facilitating on job hands on training for health workers, HEWs, and CNVs
- Field experience of community mobilization
- Previous experience in pastoralist communities
- Knowledge of local language-

C Technical Skills
Required:
- Communication skill, good human relations, willingness to reside in rural areas;
- Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development.
- Knowledge of the local language
D) Competencies:
Respect, accountability, courage, excellence, stress tolerance, information monitoring, developing teams, interpersonal skills, coaching, problem solving, planning, and organizing.
VI. Contacts/Key Relationships
The CMAM Nurse is expected to establish open relationship with the community, government counterparts and other community based organizations in order to facilitate and encourage active participation in overall development activities and internally, with Supervisors, Project Managers, and other concerned FO’s staff.
VII. Living Conditions:
The CMAM Nurse based in the project woreda and lives among the community. She/he can travels on foot long distances (50%) and stand about 30% during training sessions.

Position 2: Health Officer
Job Requirements
IIV. QUALIFICATION
A. Education/Training
Required:
BSc in Public Health officer, Nursing or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
B. Work Experience:
Required:
3 years of relevant experience with the first degree.
2 years of relevant experience plus post graduate degree experience in Public Health or in Community Health Work particularly primary health care service in hard-to-reach sites, mobile communities.

C. TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Required:
- Knowledge and skill in organizing mobile health and nutrition team and implementation of essential health service at primary health care level
- Language proficiency in written and spoken English;
- Computer literacy in MS-Word, Excel;
- Interpersonal communication and report writing skills;
- Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS and participatory approach and sustainable development.
- Knowledge of local language

D. Competencies

The Health Officer is expected to establish and maintain open and cordial relations with mobile health and nutrition team members, government counterparts, the community, and other partners. S/he is also expected to establish good relation with the Project Team Leader, Health Extension Workers, community facilitators and other staff in order to provide technical and professional support in proper implementation of health and nutrition service through mobile approach;

Position 3: Midwifery Nurses
Job Requirements
V. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOW HOW)
Required:
Degree in Midwifery Nursing or clinical nursing with experience on midwifery services.
Required:
- 3 years of relevant experience with the first-degree
- 2 years of relevant experience plus post graduate degree maternal and child health care related work experience
- Experience on community based mobile health and nutrition (MHN) services.
- Knowledge and practical experience of the primary health care level maternal and child health services;
- Skill in facilitating on job hands on training for health workers, HEWs, and Health Development Armies (HDAs);
- Field experience of community mobilization.
- Previous experience in pastoralist communities.
- Knowledge of local language-

BA in relevant field (Business Administration, Procurement/Purchasing, Logistics, Statistics, Rural Development).
B) Experience:
Required:
3 years of relevant experience with the first degree and 2 years of relevant experience plus post graduate degree in Business Administration, Procurement/Purchasing, Logistics, Statistics, Rural Development.
Desired:
NGO experience
C) Technical Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Amharic and English
Good computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
Sensitivity to various aspects of diversity (gender, culture, religion, etc) and a firm belief in teamwork
