Position 1: Agricultural Production and Market Linkages Advisor
Required:
B.A. Degree in Agriculture/Agronomy/Livestock, Horticulture, Plant science, Rural development, agricultural economics, local economic development, marketing, or other closely related field with experience on agricultural production, marketing, value-chain, and livelihood promotion.
Desired:
MSC/MA in Agriculture/Agronomy/Livestock, Horticulture, Plant science, Rural development, agricultural economics, local economic development, marketing, or other closely related field with experience in agricultural production, marketing, value-chain, food security and livelihood promotion.
B) Experience
Required:
5-7 years of work experience in the agricultural production, marketing, value-chain development, local economic development and familiarity with food security, rural development.

Position 2: Emergency Nutrition Advisor
Required
BSc Degree in public health, human nutrition, Nursing, or other related fields.
Desired
Master’s in nutrition/public health and related fields plus experience in emergency health and nutrition.
B) Experience
Required
Five years related work experience.
Solid experience gained in emergency health and nutrition project/program management, and financial and administrative management.
Experience in proposal writing and budgeting preferably in NGOs.

Position 3: Project Manager – RIPA
Required:
BSc in the field of Disaster Risk Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Climate Change and Society, Environmental Management or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Master’s Degree in Disaster Risk Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Climate Change and Society, Environmental Management, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
B) EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years proven field-based working experience in pastoral development programs, out of which 1 year in managerial position.
Experience in pastoral area integrated development and Market System Development (MSD).
Knowhow of opportunities and challenges of development in Ethiopia.

Position 4: Admin Assistant – Storekeeper
Qualifications:
BA Degree in Management, Business Administration
1 year of related experience.
Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner.

Position 5: Chief of Party
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in international development, business, agriculture, economics, rural development, or other relevant field.
- 10-12 years of relevant senior experience in international development as Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, or in a senior management role on large ($20M+) humanitarian or development projects.
- Proven market systems development and resilience programming experience.
- Technical experience leading programs focused on improving pastoral and agro-pastoral productivity and resilience, food security and nutrition, and market systems development within an African context, preferably in Ethiopia.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively with a wide range of organizations.
- Proven leadership in the design, management, implementation, and M&E of similar-sized international donor-supported programs, with skills in strategic planning and thinking, management, consortium management, supervision and budgeting, and experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions.
- Strong familiarity with USAID collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA) and localization principles and approaches preferred.
- Demonstrated skills building and maintaining relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated inter-cultural, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience recruiting, developing, and managing staff and teams.
- Track record of strong commitment to sharing knowledge, documenting experiences, supporting creative initiatives, and sharing credit.
- Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, as evidenced in previous management positions and programming. Demonstrated commitment to PSHEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Harassment, and Abuse).
- Experience managing required programmatic and financial reporting requirements.
- Fluency in English required (spoken and written).
- Ability to travel within Ethiopia as required and as security conditions allow.

Position 6: Deputy Chief of Party-Technical
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in development studies, international relations, agriculture, economics, business administration, economic development, or related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant senior experience in international development as Deputy Chief of Party, or in a senior management role on large ($20M+) humanitarian or development projects.
- Experience managing USAID cooperative agreements and/or contracts.
- Experience working in Ethiopia and understanding of the lowland context preferred.
- Experience in agro-pastoral and pastoral livelihoods and resilience programming.
- Experience implementing a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach preferred.
- Additional technical experience and understanding in some of the following sectors: nutrition, natural resource management, WASH, climate change and adaptation, enterprise development for women and youth.
- Experience recruiting, developing, and managing staff and teams.
- Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining relationships with government counterparts, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and implementing partners.
- Fluency in English required (spoken and written).
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated intercultural, interpersonal, and negotiation skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to PSHEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Harassment, and Abuse) and to principles of Diversity, Equity, Belonging and Inclusion (DEBI).
- Experience leading/implementing M&E systems for USAID projects including Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) principles and localization approaches preferred.
- Ability to travel within Ethiopia as required and as security conditions allow.
