CISP has been operating in Ethiopia since 1986 through relief, rehabilitation and development projects. In collaboration with various local partners CISP is actively implementing projects in Ethiopia in the area of humanitarian assistance, agriculture, food security, livelihood, DRR, WASH, education, Nutrition and other social development projects.

Position 1: Community/Social Worker
Duty station: Filtu, Somali Region
No of Position: 01
Employment type: Regular
Contract Duration: One Year
Line of responsibility: The Community/Social worker is directly responsible to the project coordinator
Project: “Integrated Multi-Sectoral Emergency Response to Drought Affected Population in Somali Region” (MUSTER)
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
BSC/Diploma degree in rural development, community work, general agriculture, animal husbandry economics, or related field;
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years for BSc or 6 years for Diploma relevant experience and knowledge of social work principles and practices;
- Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing monitoring and evaluation plans;
- Experience in indicator development, qualitative and quantitative data collection and reporting methodologies,
- Ability in organizing and facilitating awareness raising and capacity building training to communities, as well as supporting colleagues in this aspect;
- Demonstrated analyzing and report writing skill;
- Preferable experience working with refugees;
- Excellent in written and spoken English;
- An applicant should be a resident and a person from the surrounding areas Assosa.
Desirable:
Experience of managing donor (s) funded projects; NGO experience and Knowledge of local language (culture and context).
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Ability to do all essential accounting functions;
- Ability to handle additional tasks assigned;
- Posses’ personal qualities like willingness, honesty and integrity etc.;
- Open and easily approachable;

Line of responsibility: The Accountant/Cashier is directly responsible to the project coordinator with overall supervision of the CISP Accounting and Finance Head
Project: “Response to Drought Affected Communities in Afder zone of Somali Region through integrated WASH, Nutrition and MPCT Interventions” (MUSTER)
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/Diploma in accounting, finance or related field.
- For BA 3 Year work experience in International NGO and more than 5 Year work experience in Government office
- For Diploma 5 years work experience in international NGO and more than 5 year in Government
Work Experience:
- For BA 3 Year work experience in International NGO related to the Finance and Administrative
- For Diploma 5 years work experience in international NGO related to the Finance and Administrative Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of Amharic
- An applicant should be a resident and a person from the surrounding areas Afder.
Desirable:

Qualifications And Experience Required:
- Master’s degree /BSC. degree in Livestock husbandry, agriculture, rural development, and other closely related field
- Working knowledge in acute emergency context highly required
- Minimum of three years’ experience for MSC and seven years for in the humanitarian context in relevant work experience essential.
- Open, creative, experienced, mature, responsible, flexible, culturally sensitive, energetic, interested.
- Knowledge of donors policies and guidelines specially EHF.
- Good stress management in tense and difficult environment.
- Knowledge of local language (Somali), culture and context.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Water Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Supply Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Health or other relevant fields;
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years for first degree or 2 years for advanced degree proven experience in relevant jobs,
- Work experience in Refugee settling, NGOs or similar organization is an asset/advantageous
- An applicant should be a resident and a person from the surrounding areas Afder.
- Desirable: Experience of managing donor (s) funded projects; NGO experience and Knowledge of local language (culture and context).
