Position 1: Principal System Architect
Requirements:
Educational Background: BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related subject.
Work Experience: Eight or more years of IS infrastructure administration and operations experience, from which having three years’ experience as Senior System Engineer/Administration.
Having industry certification/training in more than three of the following areas: Unix/Linux, Windows, HCI, VMWare, AIX, SAN, Middleware Technologies, Backup & Recovery, Project Management and/or ITIL Service Management Certification
Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Afan Oromo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for interfacing with application support teams to ensure applications fit within the infrastructure with scalability, reliability and security designed and implemented from the onset and in defining road maps for the solutions.
- Designs large or complex systems and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
- Ensures that the system design balances functional and non-functional requirements.

Position 2: Senior System Engineer
Requirements:

Work Experience: Four (4) years proven work experience as System Administrator/Engineer on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of Server Virtualization, UNIX /Linux and Windows platforms.

Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Afan Oromo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.

- Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
- Contributes to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance and updates.
- Implements agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines. Uses infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics.

Position 3: Senior Network Engineer
Requirements:
Educational Background: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any other related fields
Work Experience: Two years industry-related experience as Network Administrator/Senior Network Administrator. Active CCNA and/or CCNP or equivalent certification.
Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Afan Oromo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy and maintain redundant pathways for functional networks, and apply appropriate segmentation and security for all WAN, LAN, WLAN, and MPLS services
- Manage and monitor network access control as well as network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points and controllers, and wide area networks.
- Mentor team members, and provide oversight and direction for junior network administrators
- Ensure all network components are patched according to best practices
- Ensure backups of all configurations for networking infrastructure components
- Maintain a secure VPN environment that allows required access while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the Bank’s digital resource.

Position 4: Senior Data Center Engineer
Requirements:
Educational Background: BSc/MSc degree in Electro Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Work Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience as Data Center Engineer and more than four years hands-on experience in DC facility administration, including HVAC, Power systems, Generators, Fire suppression systems, etc.
- Certified data center Facilities Operations Specialist or Equivalent
- Certified data center Professional or equivalent on DC design and planning
- Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Afan Oromo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in DC/DR Site.
- Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.
- Manage projects effectively/ Operate independently with limited direct management
- Read and understand drawings and prints including one-lines and floor plans.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical DC/DR infrastructure enabling the quick identification of root cause solutions to technical problems.
- Communicate technical activities relating to the facility, its assets, and their operation to relevant parties.
- Create, utilize and administer MOPs, SOPs, Preventative Maintenance Procedures for all work on critical data center facility equipment, and EOPs to drive the consistency of operation and quickly respond to incidents to return equipment to operation.
- Supervise and manage the on-site management of sub-contractors and vendors, and scheduled maintenance of electrical, mechanical, life safety and monitoring equipment while ensuring that all work is performed according to established practices and procedures.
- Oversee the monitoring of equipment and other critical systems.
- Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the data center.
- Assist in effectively leading Incident Management efforts in the event of system degradation/failures communicating the status to all levels and resolving the issue in a timely fashion.
