Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the CEO, Executive Secretary to CEO, D/Chief, District Manager/Director; coordinates staff Meetings, and special events; maintains office supplies; greets visitors and answers the telephone; receives and distributes mail and correspondence; gathers data and compiles various reports; photocopies materials; maintains files; issues correspondence and promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations. He/she is also expected to facilitate the fight booking and facilitation of air ticket purchase for business related travels of the work unit’s staff.
Job Requirements
Academic & Professional Qualification:
Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management, Management, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing , Information Technology, Database Administration, Hardware and Networking, or Other related fields
Work Experience:
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience.

Position 2: – Senior Attorney, Sheriah & Legal Research and Advisory

Workplace: Addis Ababa
Job Summary:
Senior Attorney, Sheriah & Legal Research and Advisory is responsible for conducting legal and Sheriah research, reviewing various legal documents for proper legal and Shariah terminologies, and reviewing legal issues for new IFB products and services launched by the Bank. In addition, the role holder is responsible for providing legal advisory service for IFB wing of the Bank and representing the Bank before judicial & quasi-judicial tribunals, preparation and handling of cases (pleading, defenses, and petition) related to IFB window services as per the law of the land approved policies, procedures, guidelines & SAC fatwas & Islamic financial principles.
Academic & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sheriah Law, Islamic Finance, Economics or its equivalent from a reputable university.
- Certifications in interest free banking is an added advantage.
- Additional certification in law, banking, finance or similar fields is an added advantage
Work Experience:
At least five (5) years relevant experience.

At least Two (2) years’ post qualification experience in a similar role
