Position 1: Senior Shariah Compliance & Review Officer

Place of work- Addis Ababa

Job Summary

The Senior Shariah Compliance and Review Officer is responsible for monitoring the Bank’s interest-free banking operations for Shariah compliance and ensuring that the products and services provided in the Bank are Shariah principles compliant. In addition, the role holder is responsible for reporting findings of Shariah’s non-compliance and making appropriate recommendations to the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Law, Management, or related discipline from a reputable university.
  •  Relevant professional qualification such Certifications in Islamic Finance and Compliance Management (GRCM) is an added advantage.

Work Experience

At least four (5) years of relevant experience in a similar function/role

Position 2: Senior Corruption Risk Research Officer

Job Summary

Senior Corruption Risk Research Officer is responsible for identifying corruption vulnerabilities across the Bank’s policies and procedures that may lead to potential corruption risks, Conduct research, providing alternative recommendations, monitoring the implementation of the unit work plan, ensuring compliance with anti-corruption policies and strategies, and performing benchmarking activities.  In addition, the role holder is responsible for facilitating the registration or disclosure of personal assets in the system, avoiding or minimizing conflicts of interest, and ensuring transparency and accountability to achieve the Bank’s mission.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification:

Position 5: Corporate Relationship Manager- Institutional Banking
