Position 1: Regulatory Officer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Plan, Organize, coordinate and direct the activities of the unit as per the company’s rules & regulations
- Search new supplier and register their products as per EFDA’s registration guidelines
- Follow up the document evaluation by EFDA
- Submit actual samples to EFDA for laboratory analysis and follow up the results
- Notify suppliers before the expiration of the registration time and re-register the products
- Apply and follow up the status of manufacturers applied for GMP inspection
- Follow up EFDA’s new directives & incorporate with the company procedures
- Follow up the disposal of damaged and expired products on timely basis
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications/Experience:
BSc Degree in Pharmacy or Biomedical Engineering
1-2 years’ service as a regulatory affair officer in a similar import setup.
Skills:
- Basic computer application skills, knowledge of registration guidelines and process
- Proficiency in English & Amharic
- Excellent interpersonal communication
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Position 2: HR & Admin
Job Description
- Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
- Revise company policies
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Answer employee’s queries about HR-related issues
- Assist during payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leave of absence, sick days, and work Schedule)
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications/Experience:
BS degree in Business Administration/Human resources or related fields
1-2 years experience
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize
- Knowledge of labor proclamation
- Advanced MS Excel skills,
- Excellent interpersonnel skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent skills in professionalism, and reporting
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Workplace: Addis Ababa
