Digaf Microcredit would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Digaf Microcredit Providers, a tech-based microfinance institute, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS).

The partnership will allow the two signatories to facilitate access to affordable digital loan products for low- and medium-income individuals. institute aims to provide financial relief to middle to lower-income individuals through the application of technology in the financial sector.

Position 1: Call Center

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of prior experience in a call center, customer service, or help desk is an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of financial services, microfinance products, or customer care principles. Proficiency in English, Amharic and Affan Oromo languages (verbal & written).

Skills

  • Good communication skills clear, polite, and professional phone manner.
  • Active listening understands customer needs and responds effectively.
  • Problem-Solving handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide solutions.
  • Customers focus patience, empathy, and positive attitude.
  • Time management handle high call volumes under pressure.
  • Teamwork cooperates with other departments for issue resolution.
  • Confidentiality protects customer data and company information.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Digital Loan Officer

Required Qualifications Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer since, Economics and Accounting and finance
  • Experience: 1-2 year of experience in digital loan, microfinance, or banking operationsSkill:
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in loan processing and documentation.
  • Utilize social media and digital communication effectively to engage with clients.
  • Manage client relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze loan data and provide insights for process improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve organizational goals.
  • Adapt to new digital tools and technologies swiftly.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Position 3: Chief Marketing Officer

Required Qualifications Skills:

  • Senior-level experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or revenue leadership roles within:
    • Fintech
    • Telecom
    • Digital platforms
    • Consumer finance or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of behavioral science, borrower psychology, and consumer decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Funnel analytics
    • Attribution models
    • Data-driven experimentation and optimization
  • Proven ability to translate insights into measurable revenue and growth outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, execution discipline, and commercial mindset.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 4: Loan Recovery Contact Person

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in credit control, loan administration, finance, or a related role.

• Internship or trainee experience in an MFI or financial institution is an advantage.

Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of credit policies, loan procedures, and repayment tracking.

• Willingness to learn debt recovery and credit risk management practices.

Skills:

• Basic Financial Analysis – ability to understand loan data and repayment schedules.

• Attention to Detail – accurate record keeping and reporting.

• Communication – ability to follow up with clients professionally.

• Organization – effective handling of multiple loan accounts.

• Teamwork – ability to work closely with loan officers and senior staff.
