Position 1: Architect
Job Description
- Develop detailed designs and produces drawings, blueprints, construction documents using Engineering Software
- Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents
- Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
- Produces drawings, blueprints, construction documents using Engineering Software
- Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design
- Evaluates, reviews and revises design drawings and specifications from project design consultants and contractors
- Analyze and advise on the planning, design, construction and maintenance and renovation of major systems and facilities such as building, interior spaces and other architectural activities
- Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution with CGPA 3.2 and above
- Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software
- A minimum of 3 years of industry knowledge strongly desired
- Familiarity with design software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
- Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
- Proven working experience in architecture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A verified engineering license
Workplace: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Civil Engineer
Job Description
- Developing detailed designs
- Evaluates, reviews and revises design drawings and specifications from project design consultants and contractors
- Analyze and advise on the planning, design, construction and maintenance and renovation of major systems and facilities such as building, interior spaces and other architectural activities
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
- Preparing and implementing project plans
- Project management duties (e.g., preparing and managing budgets and schedules)
- Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design
- Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
- Produces construction documents using Engineering Software
- Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, BOQ, TOS and construction documents
- Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
- Performs other related duties as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution with CGPA 3.2 and above
- A minimum of 3 years of industry knowledge strongly desired
- Familiarity with design software
