East African Lion Brands Manufacturing S.C would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Sales Supervisor -South West

Job Description

  • Create, manage, and maintain various key files, documents required in the planning, execution, follow-up, measurement, and evaluation of commercial activities.
  • Generate the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual report of the departments add share as per the standards defined diffusion matrix.
  • Update internal databases with information from departments collaborating with the marketing manager and sales manager as well as other cross-functional departments in the company.
  • Communicate updates, details and other key directives to Sales and marketing teams as well as the wider business and follow-up proper documentation.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts (Distribution agents, cash customers …) by recording all required account information as well as Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and Supply chain to ensure smooth product transfers from a sales administration standpoint.
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • brainstorm innovative ideas to improve Customer relationship both internal and external.
  • Attend to customers queries and complaints.
  • Ensure the implementation of enabling technologies including CRM.

Job Requirements

 BA degree or above in Business Administration or related fields with 5 years of work experience out of which one (1) years in similar supervisory position in FMCG industry.

Position 2: Marketing Officer

Job Description

Design and implement well-structured marketing intelligence to obtain market information on competitors’ sales and marketing activities.

  • Conduct weekly market assessment and trace the market trend on;
  • Channel pricing of competitors products with especial emphasis on benchmark products to EALBM product skus.
  • Competitors’ product supply.
  • Brands and products dominating the market.
  • Based on the information obtained from the market, provide market analysis report and recommendations for decision making.
  • Identifies market opportunities for sales and product development to meet consumers and customers demand.
  • Follow up EALBM brand and products availability and visibility in the segmented markets. And check whether products quality maintained at all channels.
  • Evaluate and analyze EALBM sales and sales services provided to customers in comparison with competitors.
  • Measure level of customer satisfaction towards EALBM product quality, pricing, product availability and sales services.
  • Design and implement sales development activities to achieve targeted sales volume as well as values.
  • Develop regular reports, daily weekly and monthly sales performance reports against plan.

Job Requirements

MA degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields with two (2) years of demonstrated experience or BA degree in marketing, Business Management or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience in FMCG business.

Position 3: Marketing Department Manger

Job Description

Identifies, develops, and evaluates marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost as well as markup factors;

  • Formulates marketing policies and coordinates marketing activities through promote products and services;
  • Develop company  marketing communication policy; identify relevant internal communication channels, develops and cascades/disseminates internal communication messages;
  • Leads the development of pricing policy and lead execution;
  • Ensures proper alignment of marketing mix & initiatives with customer needs;
  • Supports sales team  by developing pricing strategies, identifying new customers, supporting lead generation efforts, and creating promotions using various medias;
  • Leads the processes of understanding customer expectations, attitudes, behaviors, intentions, and needs and perform customer segmentation;
  • Leads effective branding, customer communication, and customer insights research;
  • Oversees management and performance of channel, customer, and relationship management strategy.
  • Communicates  with people outside the organization, representing the Company to customers, the public, government and other external sources;
  • Leads the development of product development strategy;
  • Ensures a positive brand equity through positive brand associations and awareness;
  • Ensures maintenance of good company image nationally and internationally through respecting and applying company’s code  of conducts;
  • Conducts  market survey, and  submit findings  and proposals;
  • Conducts  creative and wise marketing activities that enable to retain existing clients and attract new ones, as well as  exploring ways of entering into new geographic areas;
  • Participates in forecasting sales and reviewing strategic planning to ensure the profitability of the Company’s   products through analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends;
  • Participates and coordinates customer satisfaction survey to keep competitive advantage;
  • Organizes computerized  recording system and documentation on market price, sales investigations and other market research results for easy retrieval and utilization;
  • Developing each marketing campaign from start to finish.
  • Facilitate promotional activities through handling social media and  public relation efforts;
  • Identifies human resources requirements of the department and develop plan for meeting the requirements;
  • Supports the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback;
  • Prepares and submits periodic reports to the Marketing and Sales Director;
  • Performs other activities as assigned by the Marketing and Sales Director.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Marking and sales, Business Administration, MBA or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience out of which four (4) years in similar managerial position in FMCG industries or Bachelor degree in Marketing Management, Business Management or related fields with  ten (10) years of demonstrated experience of which five (5) years in similar managerial position.

Position 4: Senior Brand Officer

Job Description:

  • Develop brand standards and positioning guide book and ensure implementation as per the standard at all channel and level.
  • Developing and implementing strategies that resonate with positioning company brands in the target market.
  • Planning and executing marketing initiatives including advertisement, campaigns, events, sponsorships and other promotional activities.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at communicating our brand message.
  • Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability.
  • Assess brand performance in the market and initiate renovation on brand elements to cope up with the market dynamics.
  • Actively participate in new product development process to exploit company strength and market opportunities.
  • Ensuring that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with brand and company values.
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights, identify opportunities for further market & market development.
  • Measure efficiency and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and propose improvement ideas.
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Prepares and submits periodic reports to the Marketing manager.
  • Performs other activities as assigned by the Marketing manager.
