East African Trading House PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Treasury, tax and budget Head

Detail Responsibilities:

  • The tax compliance officer performs in a case is ensuring the accuracy of any credits and deductions a taxpayer has claimed.
  • While examining this information, a tax compliance officer can detect tax problems at the federal, state and local levels.
  • If a claim or payment is determined to be inaccurate, a tax compliance officer then contacts the taxpayer.
  • Travelling can be necessary to meet with branches and to visit businesses assigned to the tax compliance officer.
  • Examine whether Tax submissions can be achieved or constraints and inform management of potential problem areas.
  • Prepare consolidated tax payment version for approval.
  • Updated the tax payment model as requested to account for significant changes in the business environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance or related fields with minimum of Five (5) years of demonstrated experience

ERP Experience is A+

Additional Skill:

Workplace: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Cash and Carry Store Manager

Detail Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimise profitability
  • Achieving sales target given every month
  • Maintain store standards at every time
  • Manage all the staffs and make sure the operation runs smooth
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance
  • Additional store manager duties as needed

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field with minimum of Five (5) years of demonstrated experience

  • Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager
  • Powerful leading skills and business orientation
  • Customer management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
