Position 1: Contract Administrator
Top Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepares, negotiates, and reviews company contracts.
- Ensures contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and drafts business proposals for strategic partnerships and similar deals.
- Assures all necessary clauses and details are included in contracts.
- Remains up to date with legislative changes that could affect current and future contracts.
- Coordinates with legal and compliance departments when necessary
- Maintains an organized system of physical and digital records
Job Requirements
BCS in Civil Engineering / COTM or related field
3 years and above relevant experience as contract administrator in Construction Company

Position 2: Senior HR Admin & Advisor
Top Roles and Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain employee records on a regular basis including the creation and maintaining of all employee documents, like employment contracts, and maintenance of soft copy files in the document management system.
- Employee Onboarding – ensuring that all documentation for new hires has been satisfactorily completed and captured.
- Employee Correspondence – Prints and distributes letters and other correspondence developed
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or annual leave)
- Acting as the first point of contact to answer employees queries about HR-related issues, offering counselling services to employees and resolving cases (e.g. grievances)
- Assists management with performance concerns, disciplinary action and conflict management issues.
- Assist in the implementation of annual reward cycle and bonus plans to produce a high-performance culture
- Liaise with Compensation and Benefits Manager on managing external vendors, like insurance providers, and ensure legal compliance and timely renewal.
- Coordinate with payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. Per diem allowance, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules/attendance sheet)
- Exits: Local or face to face support to Line managers or employees for Exit processes (e.g. Clearance process, collection of equipment etc.), conduct exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms where required for HR team
- Liaison with government and other external entities on pension, income tax and other related matters as deemed necessary.
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. Headcount, turnover rates, annual leave reports, and retention rates etc)
- Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a career fair event)
- Suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations
- Collaborate ad work with all HR team members
- Work on any other activity as assigned by the HR Director.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Education – Degree in Human Resources, Management, Economics or related field of study
- Work Experience – 5 Years of experience in which 1 year on a senior position in a similar discipline
- Candidates should have international experience Or have worked for international companies Or has International NGO experience here in Ethiopia.
- International construction company experience is an added advantage.

Position 3: Site HR & Admin
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The role holder interacts with many different people within the project site, including site crew members, supervisors and accounting/finance representative.
- Role holder reports directly to head office HR Admin and Advisor with a dotted line to the site project manager.
- The role holder collects and enters numerous sets of data, including new joiners end to end information regularly and submits for head office HR
- The role holder plays a key role in the implementation of new employee induction/orientation programs. When the company hires new site staff / laborers, for instance, the site HR Administrator will organize a session to induct new joiners about the company, its vision and values, roles and responsibilities, on the project’s regulations and working conditions etc.
- Responsible for informing employees about different policies and procedures
- Maintaining employee records and facilitate new hiring processes and make sure every formality and document is present on time in full without error.
- Managing on site grievances
- At a minimum this person provides information on timekeeping on the minimum number of labor hours per day, reporting and breaking times and provisions for overtime, if any. In general, the role holder is also responsible for but not limited to;
- Maintaining time and / attendance sheets
- Verifying accurate hours worked including overtime hours and ensuring to submit time sheets for Finance department for payroll purpose
- Reporting absent employees
- Keeping track of all types of leaves
- Calculate wages and deductions
- Monitor reports for discrepancies
- Manage site employees related cost management, Per Diem management etc
- Another part of the job is to maintain meeting schedules of a construction project as deemed necessary.

Position 4: Earthwork Foreman
Top Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and track labor, material and equipment according to site logistics and other project scope requirements through proper documentation.
- Exhibit earthwork best practices, promote professionalism, rapport and teamwork among field crew, and assist in the recruitment process to expand our team of qualified professionals.
- Manage and perform mass grading and excavation, sub grade preparation, road, and parking lot construction.
- Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed

TVET Level IV in Building/Road Construction Technologies
8 Years and above related work experience in similar role (as Earthwork Foreman) in big/known construction company

Position 5: Senior Site Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all contract specifications and guidelines are adhered to at all times during the commencement project.
- Ensure that material submittals are issued with the relevant consultants requirements and that the information. A register must be put in place and maintained at all times.
- Ensure that all Method Statements & Risk Assessments are in line with company HSE/QA-QC procedures. a usable platform. Make sure that all compliance statements, testing and commissioning, spares, warrant upheld at all times.
- Manage a procurement/long lead item schedule in tandem with your line managers/Section Manager / and the status of the pending material/s deliveries and follow up delivery dates whilst recording any issue
- Control the dissemination of contractual documents (drawings/contracts/specifications) – usable drawing relevant site team members to be able to carry out works per the specifications and contract requirement programme.
- Changes to the scope of works must be forwarded to the Commercial Team immediately.
- Manage the on-site Drawing Control and As Built Information making sure that all drawings are check relevant team members – a weekly record of drawing updates and change requirements must be kept at built systems.
- Uphold and maintain the QA/QC requirement of the project and make sure that the installations are ch members prior to issuing inspection documentation. You will also be expected to carry out/manage full material take-offs and issue the relevant measurable adhered to at all times.
- Make sure that project team efficiencies are recorded and reported to your senior managers and make s deviations are recorded weekly and issued to the planner or project manager.
- Make sure that Testing & Commissioning Requirements, Spares Requirements, Warranty and Defect Liability closing out period of the contract and that all written compliance are agreed and signed off by the responsible person

Qualification and Requirements:
- Bsc in Civil engineering, Construction Technology and Management or related field
- 4 years and above in a similar setting within construction company
- International company experience is an advantage

- The ideal candidate shall have an international experience/or worked with international companies here in Ethiopia – or must have a proven track record of the successful management of an end-to-end project execution.
- The ideal candidate should specialize in road construction, Mainly in Asphalt road projects and bridges with extensive practical experience.

Position 7: Procurement Coordinator (Readvertized)
Specific Responsibilities:
- Comply with Company and Project purchasing policies and procedures and act within limits of delegated authority.
- Work with engineering, planning, project controls, expediting, Materials Control, HSE and quality to ensure specifications and material summitals of materials and equipment is provided on-time.
- Liaise with relevant Senior Procurement staff as well as with the commercial department in compiling the overall suppliers/subcontractors assessment reports.
- Identify, develop and propose sources, solicit suppliers, receive quotations and bids. Undertake negotiation of orders, follow-up, schedule and expedite deliveries.
- Monitor the timely delivery of required goods are ensured.
- Secure and process necessary documentation to support the approval of supplier invoices as required by the purchase order.

Job Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- B.S.c in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Purchasing & Supplies and/or related relevant fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated experience working IN a construction firm OR Experience working WITH affiliated organizations commissioning complex construction projects by hiring construction firms is an asset.
- Experience working directly or indirectly with procurement department or team handling the supply needs for medium to large scale construction projects is an added advantage.
- Experience working with relevant software solutions such as AutoCAD, Revit etc. is Mandatory.
- Internationals experience OR working in an international organization in Ethiopia is an added advantage.

Position 8: Section Manager
Top Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Ensuring the quality of work performed on site meets and exceeds the project specifications
- Manage the daily deliverables relevant to the allocated work/s area.
- Ensuring that goal orientated construction is implemented on site.
- Daily project delivery requirements must be issued to the relevant members of your team.
- Ensure that Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Schedules are issued to the relevant team members for site implementation.
- All site contract information must be up to date with correct drawing and materials scheduling in place.
- Ensuring that works / materials / equipment are correctly scheduled and planned in order for the project to be delay free
- Tooling & Access requirements need to be sourced per the delivery schedule/s.
- Ensure implementation of quality control and quality assurance procedures and testing.
- Ensure that all Method Statements & Risk Assessments are in line with company HSE/QA-QC procedures and suit the appointed Consultants requirements. This information must also be recorded on a usable platform.
- Manage a procurement item schedule in tandem with your Project Manager indicating delivery dates and the status of the pending material/s deliveries and follow up delivery dates whilst recording any issues which may impact program delivery.
- Maintain the site delivery requirements in line with the primary program ensuring that the relevant materials are on site to complete your work areas per the program requirements.
- Develop a full understanding of all Sub-contractors/Suppliers Scope of Works and control their activities on site in accordance with the Program and correct sequence.
- If required, Chair, coordinate and record regular subcontractor meetings and give instructions to subcontractors.
- Control the dissemination of contractual documents (drawings/contracts/specifications) – usable drawings and information must be issued to the relevant site team members to be able to carry out works per the specifications and contract requirements within the time frame of the program.
- Changes to the scope of works must be forwarded to the Project Manager & Commercial Team immediately.
- Ensure that all necessary contractual records are detailed and recorded to Client.
- Uphold daily site records indicating internal and external constraints, materials and delivery requirements and maintain the works flow process. Audit all site requirements and maintain minimum site resource, consumable and tooling requirements. Interface with Sub-Contractors and Vendors to maintain delivery date requirements.
- Maintain Staff & Labor Performance Records and promote efficient and safe working conditions.
- Make sure that the labor evaluation process is upheld and Implement and track performance management for all employees on site.
- Attending with employee needs, problems and well-being
- Promote a zero defect policy/LTI/Near Miss within the delivery team and uphold core delivery requirements.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, COTM.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years proven work experience as a Site Engineer and a Senior Site Engineer or similar role.
- Able to demonstrate experience of large scale or complex projects and development of effective strategies to meet time, cost, quality constraints and in ensuring project deliverable are continuously met.
- The ideal candidate having an international experience/or worked with international companies here in Ethiopia will be given priority

Position 9: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the contract is carried out in a cost effective manner – manage the Cost Versus Allowable process and Commercial interface ensuring that the base contract profit is maintained.
- Make sure that contract compliance is adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that payment certificates are prepared and submitted monthly as per the timelines specified in the CSP.
- Ensure that payments are effectively approved and paid by the Engineer/Client.
- Manage the procurement team and make sure that they comply with the base commercial terms and conditions and perform within the requirements of the CVA schedule.
- Carry out weekly Commercial meetings incorporating Change Management Control, Variations, Deviations, Procurement Analysis and Cost Versus Allowable impact.
- Ensure that the Monthly Project Reports are accurate and issued per the requirements of the project reporting schedule.
- Update the CVA with Senior Management and make sure that the CTC and Monthly Costs are Managed in line with the commercial requirements of the project.
- Attend Monthly Cost meetings.
- Carry out instructions as directed by Senior Management & Co-Ordinate the Project requirements ensuring that the Project is delivered on time and in budget.
- Understands and Manages Contract conditions and requirements (PPA, FIDIC, Time & Cost Claims)
- Understands and Manages Commercial requirements:- payment certificates, variations, cost vs allowable, P&G etc…
- Understands and Manages the Commercial Variables of the Project (Commercial Management)
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Work experience 5 Years+
- Working in similar role in a construction company. Candidate with International company experience or have worked out of Ethiopia will be given priority

Position 10: Senior Procurement Engineer
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with the relevant department teams for completing the procurement schedule.
- Coordinates with the relevant departments and line managers to complete and update the Procurement schedule and ensure it is regularly updated.
- Study the aspects of all relevant supporting documents (BOQ, Drawings etc.) as per the timeline of the supply needs on the procurement schedule and suggest a feasible procurement plan (method & process route) per the company’s procurement guidelines.
- Be the focal person between Project Sites and Procurement Department on coordinating, facilitating and addressing technical (engineering) issues and questions related to materials, equipment and construction works per the procurement schedule.
- Manages the efficient flow of purchase requests to the Procurement buyers for action.
- Negotiate with subcontractors technically, to ensure the compliance of the firm with all project requirements as mentioned in the bid inquiry.
- Follow-up on the approval of the materials submitted and mockups with the site.
- Visit sites, suppliers and factories regularly as required.
- Outline/draft new OR update existing prequalification assessment criteria for a varying number of supply needs (materials, equipment or services) as required and present to line managers for approval.
- Perform the technical prequalification of suppliers and subcontractors as required and report to line manager accordingly.
- Communications and Working Relationships:
- Coordinates with the Engineering/Design Unit when design details are involved.
- Reviews the completed Procurement Schedule with line managers as required.
- Discusses the material files with line managers as required.
- Conducts regular visits to sites and coordinates with the site team for procurement issues.
- Coordinates with the Tender and Estimation teams when sending bid inquiries, obtaining quotations, preparing comparison sheets, and preparing material files as per the CSP – Procurement Guidelines.
- Interfaces with the QA/QC department with respect to their “audit” of suppliers
- Interfaces with relevant teams (Commercial Department etc.) when assessing suppliers and subcontractors.
- Work with the Plant and Equipment department team regarding machinery specification details for spare part purchases and quality approvals as deemed necessary.
- Works with Procurement Manager and line manager on selecting suppliers for prequalification.
- Coordinates with Warehouse Officers when material is returned to supplier
- Coordinates with Finance for the proper management of accounts receivables and payables
- Communicates with potential suppliers
Job Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- B.S.c in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Purchasing & Supplies and/or relevant fields.
- Minimum 4 Years & above work experience in procurement in a construction firm OR experience working on similar positions in a firm commissioning extensive construction projects thus hiring construction businesses is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of standard/basic procurement workflow processes and construction industry procurement.
- Knowledge of the industry market and ability to understand the technical requirement attached to the role
