Position 1: Senior Relationship Officer
Essential Function
- Perform new customer acquisition and existing customer retention activity;
- Build high end customer relationship to mobilize deposit, FCY and Share capital of the Bank.
- Perform follow-ups on high value customers acquisition and retention undertakings;
- Understanding key customer individual needs and develop proposal;
- Engage in high value customer base expansion of the bank;
- Conducting business reviews based customer relationship program;
- Works on ways to improve customer acquisition continuously;
- Meeting with Team Leader, Relationship Management to plan strategically the customer acquisition and retention endeavours;
- Assess and select a rising business area in order to capture the expected value.
- Propose new ideas or initiatives based on the assessment made on market analyses
- Continually seek innovative means of attracting financial resource and make contact.
- Engage in coaching, mentoring, and training activities of branches sales representatives on all sales skills aspects;
- Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement:
Education: BA in Banking & Finance, Marketing & Communication, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Administration, Any other related fields
Work Experience: 5.5 years of experience in relevant fields, of which at least 2 years as a relevant officer position in banking industry.
Place of Work: – Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Bahir Dar
Position 2: – Team Leader, Relationship Management
Essential Function:
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Relationship Management team;
- Lead the Relationship Management team to mobilize fresh resources (Deposit, FCY, and Share capital);
- Responsible for building and maintaining sustainable positive relationships with existing high valued customers and recruiting new potential high valued customers;
- Responsible for high value customer base expansion;
- Responsible for recruiting new potential and retaining high valued customers;
- Handle high valued customers’ graduated from branch level;
- Address and follow-up high valued customers inquires escalated from branches;
- Escalate customer requirements to district director or EMT in order to make an informed decision;
- Expanding the customer base by upselling and cross-selling;
- Overseeing the relationship with customers handled by Relationship Management team;
- Identifying opportunities for business growth, and resolving customer complaints;
- Based on segmentation parameters engage in categorizing new potential and existing high valued customers;
- Responsible for maintaining sustainable positive relationships with existing high valued customers;
- Identify the business competition and strategizing accordingly;
- Responsible for overseeing the resource mobilization operation, setting targets, follow-ups, and monitoring performances of the Relationship Management team;
- Review and evaluate the group based performance of Customer Relationship officers based on Key Result Indicators (KRI) and suggest improvements. The bank applies “Group Based Target” for all Relationship Management team members.
- Resolving high valued customer complaints quickly and efficiently;
- Keeping high valued customers updated on the latest products in order to increase sales;
- Coaches the team to leverage lead generation techniques.
- Coach, mentor, and train the branches sales representatives on all sales skills aspects;
- Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor;
Job Requirement
Education: BA in Marketing Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields
Work Experience: 7.5 years of experience in relevant fields in banking industry.
Place of Work: – Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Bahir Dar
