Ethal Aluminum Manufacturing would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Create a Purchase Request Forms (PRFs) and a Purchase Orders (POs) on ERP on a timely manner
  • Create Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) and Purchase Invoices (PINVs) on ERP on a timely manner
  • Prepare Journal Vouchers (JVs) for purchase advance settlements and any other transactions
  • Raise Withholding Tax receipts for the purchase of goods and services.
  • Prepare withholding tax, VAT, employee income tax and pension summaries for monthly tax declaration and prepare monthly purchase and sales summary for on ERCA online system (TASS)
  • Follow purchase advance settlements with the respective purchaser and prepare a balance report on a monthly basis
  • Create a Petty Cash Payment Voucher (PCPV) and Cheque Payment Voucher (CPV) on ERP on a timely manner
  • Raise Cash Receipt Vouchers and Follow up deposits to the bank on a daily basis
  • Raise Credit Sales Invoice on ERP on a timely manner

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Job Requirements

Qualifications

 BA/BS degree in Accounting

Work Experience:

 0 – 2 years of experience in accounting

Workplace: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Admin/Front Desk Officer     

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors and providing assistance as needed.
  • Newspaper management.
  • Inward document management.
  • Maintain original document files.
  • Travel management for expatriate and local employees
  • Plant and flower management
  • Office Keep-up
  • Manage office utilities – telephone, internet, electricity, water.
  • Timesheet management – HO.
  • Document management and document processing.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance of furniture and equipment.
  • Receive telephone calls, mails and other external documents.
  • Internal communication from the other branches of the organization.
  • External communication received.
  • Compile and submit reports from branches to CEO, COO & CFO will include follow up for reports not received, filing and summarizing on checklist of report.
  • Schedule meetings and arrange appointments schedule for CEO, COO & CFO.
  • Manage and supervise office upkeep and maintenance with internal and external entities.
  • Document processing
  • Scanning, copying, typing, filing, and translating.
  • Maintain inventory of office stationery and supplies.
  • Digitize inventory cards.
  • Maintaining safe and clean reception area by complying with producers, rules, and regulations.
  • Writing and reporting leave application and authorization form for absent employees.
  • Ensuring proper filing of official documentation.
  • Organise conference room scheduling, equipment, cleaning and take minutes for meeting.
  • Manage office inventory, monitor and maintain office equipment, inventory supplies and order replacement supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate office and maintain issues for general repair and update.
  • Arrange tickets and travel arrangements abroad/domestic for company employees.
  • Receive telephone calls, monitor incoming and outgoing mail, receive and sign for mail/packages from couriers and deliver to proper recipient.
  • Prepare correspondence documentation or sending materials to other branches and other places.
  • Assist other department with administrative or clerical tasks. Qualifications – Diploma or BA degree in Business Management, Administration, Secretarial Science or other related fields.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Requirements

Work Experience:

A minimum of 2/3 years of experience in office administration

 Experience working for international organizations preferred Core

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, record keeping systems and clerical procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Active listening
  • IT Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
