Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, with over 600 branches across the country. Ethiopost’s new vision is to be a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial and government services.
Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with the establishment and expansion of postal services in the country. It is the designated postal operator (DPO) that provides postal services throughout the Ethiopian territory in order to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).
Position 1: Junior Operations Officer
Qualifications:
Degree in Business administration, Accounting , Marketing or related with 0years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sorting, processing, and routing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Implement and maintain efficient mail processing procedures to reduce processing times and improve accuracy.
- Monitor the use of mail processing equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues.
- Coordinate the distribution of mail and packages to appropriate recipients or departments.
- Handle any mail or package discrepancies and address delivery-related issues promptly.
- Stay up to date with postal regulations and guidelines set by relevant postal authorities.
- Ensure that all mailing activities and processes comply with local, regional, and international postal regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising service quality.
Position 2: Junior Call Center Officer
Qualifications:
Degree in marketing management, economics, management, business administration, secretarial science ,office management related with 0 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests courteously and professionally. Offer timely and accurate information about products, services, or company policies.
- Take ownership of customer issues, troubleshoot problems, and work towards timely and satisfactory resolutions. Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments if required.
- Utilize various communication platforms such as phone, email, chat, or social media to assist customers effectively. Ensure consistent and positive communication across all channels.
- Accurately record and maintain customer information, interactions, and transactions in the call center database or CRM software.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to customers while providing valuable recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Adhere to call center scripts, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery. Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and courtesy during interactions.

Position 3: Market Research Supervisor
Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing Management or Business Administration or related with 3 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of market research analysts. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their market research needs and develop research plans accordingly. Determine the appropriate research methodologies and data sources for each project.
- Oversee the execution of data collection efforts, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data mining from various sources such as market databases and online platforms.
- Lead the analysis of research data using statistical methods and market research tools. Extract meaningful insights from the data to present actionable recommendations to management.
- Interpret market trends and developments to identify new opportunities, competitive threats, and potential areas for business growth.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 4: Account Payable Supervisor
Qualifications:
Degree in accounting or related with 3 year experience in the fields.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment requests on time.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments promptly.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure all queries are addressed effectively.
- Negotiate favorable payment terms with vendors to optimize cash flow and maintain positive relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls related to accounts payable as well as stay updated with relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Support the month-end closing process by providing necessary reports and reconciliations as well as assist in preparing accruals and other necessary financial entries.
- Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to monitor performance and identify trends.
- Prepare regular reports for management to provide insights into the accounts payable function.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 5: Motorist
Qualifications:
College Diploma + TVET level IV with 0 years of experience or TVET level III with 2 years of experience or TVET level II with 4 years of experience or for Delivery Fleet (motorists & drivers) secondary education + 4 years of motorist experience and TVET level II + 2 years of experience as a motorist.
Responsibilities:
- Keeps the motorbike in a good state/condition and is responsible for regular checks up based on the description of the log sheet.
- Checks daily schedule assignments and makes sure that the motorbike is ready before departure time.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance of the motorbike and inform his/her supervisorfor repair or maintenance on time if necessary.
- Responsible for loading and unloading materials to/from the motorbike as per the manufacturer’s carrying capacity.
- Make sure that there is enough petrol/diesel in the motorbike and keeps it neat and clean.
- Takes care of accurate records of fuel consumption and log sheet.
- Reports to the office immediately if there are problems with the motorbike like a traffic accident, technical failure, theft, etc.
