EZM Trade and Investment would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following Positions.

Position 1: General Accountant-Receivable

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all regular accounting processes such as A/R and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
  • perform all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
  • Perform & ensure efficient working of all financial transactions in organization.
  • Implement all receivable account clearance & advance payment settlement.
  • Perform & confirm prepaid accounts reconciliation process.
  • Administer all fixed asset transactions, oversee data recording procedures and prepare up to date Fixed asset registration monthly.
  • Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work.
  • Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.
  • Collect the contractual agreement that is done with customer and administer the contract appropriately.
  • Prepare the CIP (Construction in Progress) account for any projects under construction & follow their execution with the contract.
  • Receive the daily sales invoice & post the invoice to the system on daily basis
  • Prepare the daily sales report which shows the quantity sold, the amount collected the bank deposited.
  • Perform the Debtor subsidiary reconciliation with the trade debtor general ledger account & justify the difference if any.
  • Perform the daily expenditure report & Daily bank balance report consistently.
  • Other general accounts tasks and projects as required

Qualification

BA in Accounting and finance, Minimum 3 years Experience.

Position 2: Senior Cost & Budget Accountant

Main duties and responsibility:

  • Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis. Prepare various financial analysis related to costs, inventory, and expense information for various customers as needed for decision making support
  • Provides feedback to enhance or improve existing policies, procedures and processes for the Cost Control function to maintain efficient operational excellence.
  • Assist the business with the annual budget process by engaging with budget holders to deliver budgets within targets
  • Recommending corrective actions based on the status and summary reports to requesting management on material, machines and labor requirement of the project against agreed plans.
  • Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as purchases, inventory and labor (material, Labor and overhead costs)
  • Analyzing changes in government proclamation, regulations, directives or services provided, to determine effects on cost
  • Analyzing changes in Banks exchange rate and freight costs from different shipping point to determine effects on cost
  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
  • Providing expert advice on cost and budgeting issues related to current projects to project managers, conducting analysis of actual performance against plan.
  • Design effective budget models for departments and the entire company
  • Analyze financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget
  • Present annual budgets to senior managers
  • Review budget requests for approval
  • Forecast future budget needs
  • Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period
  • Suggest spending improvements that increase profits
  • Review the company’s budget for compliance with legal regulations
  • Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines
  • Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedure
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualification:

 BA in Accounting and Finance Minimum 5 years experience in the plastic pipe and fitting factory is a plus.

Position 3: Tender/Sourcing Expert

Job Requirements

Education:

BSc. In Electrical/Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Short Term Training/Formal Certificate in Business, Sales & Entrepreneur will be a plus.

Work Experience:

  • 03 years or above in Diversified Tender.
  • Experience in sales will be a plus.
  • Professional dressing [preferably smart casual]

Competency

Knowledge

  • In construction materials & Equipment,
  • In Electrical equipment & materials,
  • In IT equipment & materials,
  • In mechanical equipment & machineries,
  • In Automotive & machineries industry,

Skill

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Project) [Level Expert]
  • Power Geez [Level Expert]
  • AutoCAD/Solid Works [Level Intermediate] will be a plus.
  • Adobe Photoshop [Level Intermediate] will be a plus.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skill.
  • Superb follow up & reporting skill.
  • Driving License [Level II or above] will be a plus.

Language

  • Amharic [Writing, Reading, Listening & Speaking] [Level Native]
  • English [Writing, Reading, Listening & Speaking] [Level Professional]
  • Chinese [Writing, Reading, Listening & Speaking] [Level Intermediate] will be a plus.
  • Other local & international languages will be a plus.

  • Handle a high volume of duties whilst providing high quality service to each enquiry.
  • Understand and handle diversified tenders and sourcing items.
  • Work under high pressure & tight deadlines.

  • Willing to work odd hours.
  • Maintains accurate administrative and job-related documentation.
  • Mostly it will be in an office space with some field works.
