Position 1: GBV Coordinator
This position demands a dynamic, passionate team player with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in demanding and often difficult environments.
Education:
Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Human Rights, Protection/GBV, PSS or other relevant subject;
Project Management (PM) Certification preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in project management of standalone and multi-sector GBV prevention and response projects in humanitarian contexts.
Experience of GBV case management and PSS
Experience of working with protection information management systems
Understanding and demonstrated ability and experience of training others on international standards related protection and GBV.
Experience of establishing monitoring and accountability mechanisms
Experience of rolling out safeguarding training and participating in investigations
Demonstratable ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Experience of developing successful project proposals and donor reports
Verbal and written fluency in English is required.
Demonstrable experience of working in conflict/volatile security contexts
Excellent time management skills, resourcefulness, with strong attention to detail
Ability to work virtually with team members.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to think critically and creatively.
Excellent representation, and communication skills.
Demonstratable experience of creating an empowering and motivating environment; building relationships internally and externally.
Respecting and promoting individual and cultural differences.
Previous experience of working with USAID/BHA funded GBV prevention and response projects would be an advantage.
Typical Physical Demands:
Typical office environment.
Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
Technology to be Used:
Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.
Travel Requirements:
10% – 25% throughout Ethiopia

Position 2: Protection Officer- Chereti
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Humanitarian Studies, Social Works, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Public Administration, Political Sciences, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years working experience in GBV Protection and Counselling or Gender integration at the national or international level.
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience in dealing with issues of women’s rights and Gender Equality within public institutions and/or international organizations required.
Solid understanding and working experience of safeguarding and accountability.
Fluent in local language and excellent in English

Position 3: MEAL Officer Chereti
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Project Management, M&E or relevant discipline.
At least three to five years of proven experience in the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability of humanitarian or development programs.
Masters in an added advantage
Hands on experience on Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word and digital data collection tools and the use of smart devices for data collection.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and data management system.
Previous experience with health, nutrition, protection and WASH programming.
Good understanding of the UN Cluster System; international and national minimum standards of services in humanitarian settings.
Driven and able to balance multiple tasks, commitments, and to work flexibly in a team.
Passionate about humanitarian work and assistance.
Strong oral and written communication in English and local language is required.

Position 4: Health & Nutrition Cooridnator
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or Related Field.
Master or other advanced medical degree preferred.
Experience**:
8+ years leading complex on-site emergency Health response projects and/or programs.
Experience establishing startup operations/projects in new countries preferred.
Experience working in conflict areas and/or fragile settings.
Prior work experience in an international or local non-governmental organization (NGO), working in health in humanitarian settings.
Demonstrable experience designing and leading technical assessments using proven and effective methodologies; strong background in outcome monitoring and evaluation preferred.
Experience coordinating complex programs with wide variety of stakeholders.
Previous experience working with pharmaceutical supply management and importation of pharmaceuticals.

Position 5: GBV Caseworker Chereti
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Humanitarian Studies, Social Works, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Public Administration, Political Sciences, or related discipline.
1-2 years of experience with NGO or CBO.
1–2-year relevant experience in Gender Based Violence programming including Case Management is desirable.
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience in dealing with issues of women’s rights and Gender Equality within public institutions and/or international organizations required.
Solid understanding and working experience of safeguarding and accountability.
Fluent in local language and excellent in English

Position 6: Finance Manager
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution.
Professional qualifications CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional certification/qualification.
Minimum 5 + years of relevant experience in financial management, including overseeing the finance operations of equally large and complex projects; 4+ years leading finance project team or finance department.
Familiarity with USG rules and regulations.
Demonstrated experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, and accounting for an international NGO.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint, with an expert knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience building capacity in financial management of local implementing partners.
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English, fluent in host country language.
Ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal supervision.
