Position 1: – Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings and reconcile accounts payable and receivable;
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;
- Ensure timely bank, landlord and insurance payments;
- Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements and publish financial statements in time;
- Document financial transactions by entering account information in ERP;
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options;
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports;
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents;
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions;
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups as & when necessary;
- Any other responsibility given by the Management time to time.

Timely & accurate financial reporting.

Position 2: Category Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Create road map to maximize the Gross Margin along with the operations team. This includes, but is not limited to, selection of brands and suppliers, negotiation of prices & terms and ensuring effective retail selling prices;
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with product suppliers & brand principals;
- Engage with suppliers at a country & regional level to establish Flemingo as a valued partner;
- Evaluate and monitor all supplier contracts and terms;
- Responsible for the category layouts and use of space in new stores, as well as assessing performance of existing stores and giving feedback to the teams;
- Evaluate all regional buying activity and monitor Gross margin performance and other performance metrics across the region;
- Prepare presentations on category performance, brand display and promotion perform strategic initiatives for Leadership team;
- Review expenses compared to plan, meet financial challenges and goals and be able to create MIS report on a monthly basis and management demand;
- Preparation of MIS;
- Any other job given by the Management time to time.

Position 3: – Warehouse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results;
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse, with a primary focus on cost controls;
- Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions and tool box talks;
- Check of stock at Warehouse & Shop at all times;
- Maintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities;
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles;
- Assisting with deliveries where required;
- Comply with Environment, Health & Safety procedure & practices in accordance with company policy;
- Liaise with drivers, customer service and warehouse personnel for efficient and productive material flow;
- Supervise, discipline and motivate all staff under direct or indirect control;
- Assess compliance risk & ensure adequate control mechanisms are in place for minimizing/ managing risks.

Position 4: – Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under US / IFRS GAAP;
- Prepare detailed P&L of the business, highlighting poor performance and opportunities;
- Liaise with auditors for quarterly review and final audit;
- Take complete responsibility of all taxes & statutory compliance;
- Provide analytical support to the Business Head & Group CFO and continually improves financial systems and data;
- Work with the local Retail team to produce robust budgets and monthly forecasts for all sales and cost areas;
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the actual business performance compared to the budgeted plans;
- Effectively plan cash flow and manage working capital needs;
- Provide weekly performance report to the Retail team highlighting trends and opportunities to assist in improving profits, margins and reducing costs;
- Identify risks and opportunity areas to the forecasts;
- Identify & deliver financial training to support the Retail team;
- Liaise with the Corporate Finance team on key areas of financial control;
- Work with local Retail team to ensure ordering and receipting is done effectively;
- Ensure all weekly/periodic data is collected and credited and period end numbers are reviewed
- Conduct and oversee internal reviews, audits periodically to ensure that compliance procedures are followed;
- Ensure and verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated;

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customer by greeting them; offering them assistance;
- Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items;
- Advise customers by providing information on products;
- Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions;
- Merchandise products based on planogram and ensure appropriate display of products, Price tags and offers;
- Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records;
- Keeps customer informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest;
- Ensure replenishment of stocks on the shelves & review requirement of new stock;
- Ensure security of shop to prevent shop- lifting;
- Manage the Point of Sales (POS) process end to end and manage customer satisfaction;
- Create accurate billing and processes payments by totaling purchases; processing cash and credit cards;
- Obtain customer feedback on continuous basis;
