Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Summary
Executes administrative tasks determined by Manager by performing the following duties located at the Office building in Kebena, Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Management
- Work under the guidance of the Manager: including maintenance of records of contracts and communication; assisting in the preparation and finalization of reports, emails, invoices and other documents.
- Support the Manager in reporting financial and activity progress, ensuring timely submission of reports in accordance with company quality assurance systems.
- Provide administrative support to the Company, including calendar management and maintain the contact list database.
- Undertake other tasks as necessary and agreed with the Manager
- Maintain clear and up-to-date filing system for all documents, including contracts, invoices, receipts, correspondence, staffing records etc., and archive files when appropriate.
- Make logistical arrangements as required, including travel bookings, visa applications, security clearance for travel to high risk areas and arranging for effective briefing of travelers prior to departure.
- Prepare and fullfil the pre-drilling documents, including the collection of the pictures and the water analysis for the final report.
- Prepare and development the security, hygiene and environment Company policies.
- Coordinate and follow the maintenance of all the machinery of the Company.
- Ensure good collaboration and communication with the suppliers and customers.
- In all activities, the individual will adhere to the spirit and ethics of Company.
Finance support
- Provide financial support to the accountancy, tax payment and collate monthly cash flow forecast and accounts.
- Provide support in the purchase of the Company: Searching for preforms, materials and services for the Company.
- Process invoices and expense claims.
- Directs preparation of records such as agendas, notices, minutes, etc. of meetings.
- Composes and prepares confidential correspondences, reports, and other complex documents.
- Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
- Coordinates translation of documents with outside sources.
- Carries out other duties as may be assigned.

Having an experience in finance knowledge is a plus
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Outlook Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word Processing Software.

Position 2: Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer
Salary: Gross monthly salary of 15,000.00 ETB Plus extra payments related to performed activities
Main purpose of the job:
The Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer is the go-to person to maintain and restore the basic condition of assets and is expected to be resourceful enough to take the right course of action and make the right decisions in the maintenance department. The Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer will also be tasked with identifying ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs through better maintenance practices. The responsibility of a Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer also includes standardizing maintenance practices and developing procedures and work instructions.
The position shall involve executing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machine availability, reliability, and to always maintain the basic condition of machineries and equipment. Duties involve doing running and non-running checklists, preventing failures, reporting findings and taking care of company assets to eliminate costly failures. The Maintenance Specialist is also responsible to use spare parts, when necessary, take care of tools and maintain the condition of the workshop and spare parts store.
Accountabilities:
General
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
- Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems
- Keep logs of work and report on issues
- Manage the drilling team on site
- Implement all health and safety guidelines before execution of work on site
- Collect drilling data properly for submission of report
- Provide necessary equipment’s pre drilling
- Collect official receipt while purchasing materials needed for maintenance or drilling
- Compile list of expenses with official receipts properly for the account
- Identifies spare parts needed for planned maintenance based on information available on the part and machine documentation (e.g. parts lists, drawings)
- Accurately records all maintenance measurements (e.g. temperature, speeds, current, physical wear)
- Prepares and executes overhaul plan in his/her area, identifies risks, mitigates and escalates as necessary
- Keeps overview of machine performance in his/ her area and initiates maintenance improvement actions to address losses (e.g. modification to equipment)
- Improves maintenance plan by using engineering knowledge, machine condition, current performance and equipment history
- Improves list of recommended spare parts by using machine knowledge, current performance, equipment history and engineering knowledge
- Makes sure that all equipment is functioning properly and performs regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Repairs or replaces damaged equipment or components, such as motors and bearings
- Focuses on prevention over reacting to failures
Location: – Addis Ababa, willing to travel in all parts of Ethiopia with the machinery
Experience & skills required
Education: BSc and above in mechanical or electromechanical engineering or related fields of study
Work Experience: 2 years engineer or related role. Should have proven problem-solving skills, broad technical knowledge, attention to detail, knowledge of and ability to install, repair and maintain of mechanical and hydraulic installations
Language: Able to speak, read and write in English

Position 3: Truck Driver
Salary: Gross monthly salary of 10,000.00 ETB Plus extra payments related to performed activities
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the immediate supervision of the site Engineer, truck driver delivers the trucks mounted machinery to the proposed site in different parts of Ethiopia. The Driver will be responsible for safe driving, transportation, and delivery of machinery for every trip and timely arrive to the proposed site. The Driver will work under the direct supervision site Engineer.
He/she ensures that the truck is in good working condition, keeps the tools safely, keeps the vehicle clean and presentable, and ensures timely annual inspection and road-worthiness certificate acquisitions, and fixes minor breakages and maintenance and repairs. He Keeps a record of departure, arrival, mileage covered, fuel consumed, daily checks, and other pertinent records and submits the necessary mileage-related document to site engineer on regular bases.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible to comply with the road authority driving regulation
- Ensures materials are safely transported and delivered to the intended destination.
- Checks the transportation schedule for the Truck and facilitate anticipates requirement for taking the trip and report if there are any plan changes to the immediate supervisor.
- Observes the loading/unloading of materials on and from the truck.
- Physically ascertains the quantity, type, damages, shortage, etc. of the cargo.
- Transporting only organizational goods from the intended location to the proposed location.
- Assists with the loading and unloading process of the equipment, count the actual loaded items and cross-check with dispatching document; and properly deliver the equipment without damage and discrepancy.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
Driving and Vehicle Management
- Carries out daily routine checks on his truck and follows up on scheduled maintenance of the truck.
- Ensures there is sufficient fuel in the fuel container and checks on the level of oil and water and does refilling as needed any other minor maintenance.
- Reports dents, cracks, bruises, or bumps of any magnitude on the body of the truck on time.
- Keeps the truck cabin as well as the Van body clean, and verify the windshield glass and mirrors (head, side, and rear) are clear.
- Verifies the mileage of tire mounting and dismounting KM and properly records on tire mounting controlling sheet.
- Keeps tools, accessories, spare tires, and first aid kit on the truck, and makes them readily available for use and inspection/ inventory.
- Ascertains that all tools and other accessories for the truck are handy and functional; and makes sure that the loads are within permissible limits.
- Follows up the operating condition of the truck, timely reports repair/ maintenance needs, and checks the repair of the truck before departure of the next proposed destination.
- Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including insurance, registration, log sheet, checklist, fuel, first aid, road fund, and 3rd party certificates
- Maintains all records related to the use of the truck such as daily log sheet, departure, time, arrival, mileage covered, fuel consumed, and other pertinent records, and submit necessary mileage-related documents to the Site Engineer regular bases.
- Report malfunctioning or defective technical problems on the truck to the immediate supervisor and take corrective actions.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
Location: willing to travel in all parts of Ethiopia depending on the site activities

Job Requirements
A. Qualification Requirements
Education and Experience:
- TVET level III in Auto Motive Technology/Diploma in Auto Mechanic/ 10+/ 12 Grade with 4th Grade or more Driving License or/ D1/D2 driving license. A driver who has Public-1(P1) or former driving license is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving Heavy trucks and having a safe driving record.
- Training, and experience in auto mechanics and non-Governmental or other international organizations is a plus
- Cross over the county driving experience,
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of truck driving rules, and regulations, mechanical know-how and skills of minor repair and maintenance of the truck, and physical capability to perform the job.
- Good knowledge of safe driving ability and strictly adhering to Ayudare water drilling company policy as well as government regulations
B. Skills, Attitudes, and attributes
- Good sense of cleanliness.
- Knowledge about vehicle operations.
- Good knowledge of the main roads and side roads around the work areas.

Position 4: Light vehicle Driver
Salary: Gross monthly salary of 10,000.00 ETB Plus extra payments related to performed activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and/or people to desired destination using assigned vehicle;
- Handle vehicle in a safe and secure manner;
- Responsible to washing vehicles and changing of tyres of the assigned vehicle;
- Get proper preventive maintenance service for the assigned vehicle according to schedule;
- Adjust, lubricate and service vehicle on time;
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repair of assigned vehicle;
- Notify Coordinator General Services when major vehicle malfunctions occur;
- Report the use of vehicles and fuel to immediate supervisor;
- Report any accidents to the appropriate organs;
- Dispatch letters and documents;
- Ensure all areas and equipment is clean
Location: Addis Ababa -Willing to travel all part of Ethiopia

- 2+ years of experience working as a Driver. Field experience is a plus;
