Position 2: Senior Cost Accountant Officer
Purpose of the Job:
- To provide financial activities by product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Constructing data accumulation systems.
- Determining fixed costs
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs).
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Prepare budgeting reports.
- Analyze and report profit margins.
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecast.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Review supply chain and materials pricing, labor costs, shipping discounts and quarterly sales records for each department of the corporation.
- Evaluate inventory tracking systems through retail outlets and online sales distribution centers and reconcile numbers with manufacturing centers to ensure accurate reporting.
- Audit the inventory in each regional warehouse every year by reviewing the contents and recording details about the numbers of each product in stock.
- Use computer accounting software and enterprise resource management software to track budgeting, costs and other financial data.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports that summarize the status of each department to inform upper management of things that are working and areas needing improvement.
- Plan for the next fiscal year by creating a budget proposal and financial goals for the company’s next year.
- Follows all relevant procedures, processes, and policies,
- Meet with production and manufacturing managers throughout the company to discuss new strategies to improve efficiency.
- Maintain company bookkeeping ledgers by imputing details about expenses, travel costs and other financials for accounting staff.

Position 3: Property Administration Officer
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the Property administration strategy of the GIG with the goal to control costs with budgets.
- Maintain and Manage procurement and inventory of materials.
- Ensure that goods and stock is properly controlled and organized for the achievement of the GIG’s Vision 2016.
- Perform regular cycle counts of inventory materials and assists in conducting yearly physical inventory counts.
- Ensure goods are received and managed according to GIG’s PPS standard procedure, so materials will be readily available for sector’s needs.
- Evaluate and Monitor usage and cost of all Materials, Machineries, equipment and consumables.
- Create and maintain accurate written procedures for the primary property control functions and processes.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented.
- Prepare daily reports to control the key critical areas of the stock system and address any discrepancy.

- Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Management or related fields with FOUR (4) years of demonstrated experience
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Management or related fields with SIX (6) years of demonstrated experience

Position 4: Managing Director
Major Roles:
- To direct and execute all activities of the Group either directly or through delegated authority; and
- To provide leadership in these and other areas: the creation of vision, strategic, tactical and financial plans; developing goals and measuring performance to the approved goals; organizational development; liaison to the public, investment community, government, affiliated organizations and other stakeholders; and the development of the Corporation’s management and staff.
Responsibilities
Authority
- The MD operates under the authority granted by the CEO pursuant to the Mandate set forth below and such extensions of authority as may be granted from time to time.
- The approval of the CEO (or appropriate Board committee) shall be required for all significant decisions outside of the ordinary course of the Corporation’s business, including major financings, dispositions, budgets and capital expenditures as set out in the Corporation’s policies and procedures.
Mandate
- The MD possesses the highest personal and professional integrity. The MD shall act honestly and in good faith with a view to the best interests of the Corporation and will exercise the care, diligence and skill that a reasonably prudent person would exercise in comparable circumstances.
- The MD avoids potential or actual conflicts of interest with the GIG or other interests which are incompatible with the position of MD. The MD will comply with applicable policies and procedures of the Corporation, including the Disclosure Policy and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and authority limitations established by the Board.
- The MD is fundamentally responsible for managing the Corporation’s business affairs, acting in the best interests of the GIG.
- The MD shall have full responsibility for the operations of the GIG in accordance with the strategic plan and the current year’s operating and capital expenditure budgets as approved by the by the CEO or any Formed Committee.
Relationship with the CEO or any Formed Committee
- Meets regularly and as required with the CEO other members of the committee to ensure they are provided with all information in a timely manner and have access to management to permit the CEO Expectation and statutory and other obligations.
- Keep the CEO aware of the Business performance and any events affecting its business, including opportunities in the marketplace and adverse or positive developments?
Leadership
- Maintain a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating top-quality employees at all levels.
- Work with key executive officers to promote a culture of ethical business conduct throughout the company and establish standards and oversight structures that are reasonably designed to promote integrity and deter wrongdoing.
- Continually challenge executive officers and all employees of the company to think strategically.
- Seek to ensure that all employees of the Company have their responsibilities and authorities clearly defined.
- Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and encourages individual integrity and social responsibility.
Strategic Planning
- Develop, at least annually, for consideration by the CEO or any Committee assigned, a strategic plan outlining the direction and policies which seek to ensure the company’s profitable growth and success.
- Establish priorities in terms of GIG objectives and approved long-term strategies, guiding principles and corporate milestones.
- Establish the strategic framework for the allocation of the Company’s financial and human capital.
Financial Planning
- Develop annually, for consideration by the CEO, sound business plans and budgets to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
Tactical
- Direct and monitor the activities of the Company in a manner which seeks to ensure that strategic business and operational plans are met and that the assets of the Corporation are safeguarded and optimized in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.
- Develop and implement operational policies to guide the Company within the limits prescribed by applicable laws and regulations and the framework of the strategy approved by the CEO.
- Define the strategic direction for safety, establishing performance targets for the operating businesses and ensuring adherence to established policies and standards.
- Establish, monitor and maintain appropriate management systems to provide effective internal control of operations.
- Identify, to the extent possible, all significant risks to the Company’s business and consider and establish, where appropriate, procedures to mitigate the impact of the risks.
- Oversee the compensation, performance assessment, leadership, talent development and succession planning of senior management.
Communication and Relationships
- Uphold the Company’s commitment to providing timely, accurate and balanced disclosure of all material information about the Company.
- Ensure effective relationships are established and maintained with investors and other external stakeholders, including governments, the financial community and the public.
Succession Planning
- Develop and maintain a continuous plan for the development and performance management of senior executive officers, including the appointment, training, mentoring and monitoring of such officers.
- Identify and develop potential successors who can now or who will in the future be able to fill the position of MD and other key senior executive positions. These recommendations are to be reviewed annually with CEO
- Make sure the company has Succession Policies
Risk Management
- Develop risk Assessment tool and review every quarter in each function.
- Flag significant Risks to the CEO and recommend Mitigation plan and Execute the plan
Project Management
- Manage all Project of the company with minimal cost with pre-determined dates.
- Assist the CEO on the development of new projects on the feasibility study.
NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST
- The foregoing list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the MD may, in addition, perform such other functions as may be necessary or appropriate in the circumstances, within the authority delegated by the CEO, for the performance of the MD’s responsibilities.
