Goh Betoch Bank SC, the first private mortgage financial firm, is officially set to open its door as of October 25 as the 21st bank at it’s headquarter. Goh Betoch Bank S.C was founded by 11 visionary individuals, veteran bankers, investors, and academicians who have a strong devotion to their country and people.
The reasons behind the inception of this, the first of its kind or pioneer private mortgage bank in Ethiopia include huge housing backlog, unaffordability of houses due to the rising cost of construction, persistent inflation, poor housing financing scheme in the country, among others.
The Bank was set up by 6,657 shareholders with a sum of Birr 1,056 million subscribed and Birr 521.5 million paid-up capitals. Following three years of establishment process, the Bank completed all the regulatory requirements and secured its license from the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) on July 28, 2021.
Goh Betoch Bank S.C would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Junior Application Administration Officer
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BSC Degree in Computer Science/Network Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Information Science with 2 years’ experience in Application Administration.
Database certification like OCA, OCP and core banking experience is advantageous.
Place of work: Head Office
Position 2: Junior Digital Banking Officer
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BA Degree in Accounting/Economics/Management/Business Administration/Accounting and Finance or business related field of study with 2 years of related work experience in Banking operations out of which 2 years Digital Banking experience.

Position 3: Internal Auditor
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BA Degree in Economics/Accounting/Management/Business Administration/Finance and Accounting or business related field of study and 3 years of experience in Banking operations, preferably in auditing area.

Position 4: Customer Service Officer III
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BA Degree in Management/ Economics/ Accounting & Finance/ Marketing /Banking & Finance/ Business Administration and any business related field of study and 3 years’ work experience in banking operations.

Position 5: Information System Security Officer
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BSC Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science with 3 years’ experience in information technology security area. *Certification in ethical hacking and related area is advantageous

Position 6: Compliance Officer
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BA Degree in Economics/Accounting/Management/Business Administration/Finance and Accounting or business related field of study with 3 years related work experience in risk and/or compliance activities.

Position 7: Credit Officer (Re-Advertisement)
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BA Degree in Accounting/Economics/Management/Business Administration/Accounting and Finance or business related field of study and 3 years work experience in Credit activities.

Position 8: Senior Application Administration Officer
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum of BSC Degree in Computer Science/Network Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Information Science with 4 years’ experience in Application Administration. *Database certification like OCA, OCP and core banking experience is advantageous.
