Green Gold Ethiopia PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

 Position 1: Administrative Assistant

Description of Duties

  • Do receptions, respond to enquiries, correspondence both telephone and written directed to respective offices.
  • Prepare and dispatch letters, e-mail, scanning, copying and binding internal memos and other materials to member banks and other organs.
  • File of all documents and correspondence to and from the respective office.
  • Manage Human resource recruitment, promotion, staffs leave and attendance.
  • Manage staff’s different requests like experience, power of attorney, loan, etc.
  • Organise and coordinate all logistics including travel arrangements for the management meetings and conferences (both internal & external)
  • Oversee the prompt collection and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail in the respective office.
  • Organise the filing and retrieval of files and documents in order to ensure that they are secure and accessible.
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of the management as appropriate.
  • Record register and file letters, minutes, circulars, reports, and other related materials for the management.
  • Provide safe custody of correspondence files and other materials of confidential nature.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification & Work Experience

Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management or a related field

Relevant training is preferable.

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Position 2: Senior Accountant

Description of Duties:

  • Preparation of periodic financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external users as per accounting policies and procedures.
  • Keeping all financial documents under lock & key, and ensure that they are used for the purposes they were intended.
  • Involve in the strengthening of internal controls through the review of processes to ensure financial transactions are in-compliance with the accounting policies procedures and laws.
  • Conduct payment of wages and salaries for staff and casuals timely.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation statements to ensure correct and accurate cash balance.
  • Code entries in the accounting system.
  • Record and classify all the financial transactions and events in accordance with financial reporting standards.
  • Follow-up depreciation, Amortization, Insurance & Office rent and any other Periodic adjustment.
  • Review the correctness of different payments to vendors and government organs.
  • Conduct the periodic reconciliation of fixed assets against accounting record.
  • Back-up, archive and retain financial information from relevant systems as per company policy.
  • Analysis of monthly general ledger account activity, journal entries, accruals, variances to forecast, and reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Compute, declare monthly taxes and ensure they are filed in a timely manner
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance
  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Training in Peachtree.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous
