Hexagon Computer Systems is a technology company established in 2009 G.C. Our primary works are preventive and corrective IT support, network infrastructure, web design and CCTV camera supply and installation.
We are seeking a highly versatile Multi-Skilled IT Support & Systems Engineer with electrical expertise to manage our client’s technical infrastructure. This role combines IT network engineering with electrical installation and field technician responsibilities. You will be responsible for providing periodic preventive maintenance, conducting site surveys, and performing professional installations of security, power, and networking systems.
Position: IT Support & Electrical Systems Engineer
Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
IT Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent networking credentials.
Electrical Skills: Proven experience in electrical wiring, inverter setup, and solar panel installation.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CCTV (IP/Analog), Access Control, and NVR/DVR configuration.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights (for camera/solar installation) and lift equipment up to 20kg.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- IT Support & Network Engineering
Network Infrastructure: Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
End-User Support: Provide remote and on-site technical support for hardware (PCs, laptops) and software issues.
Systems Maintenance: Perform regular backups, system updates, and patch management to ensure network reliability and security.
- Security Systems (CCTV & Access Control)
Survey & Installation: Conduct site surveys to design and install IP and analog CCTV systems, ensuring optimal camera placement and coverage.
Security Doors: Install and configure electronic security doors, intercoms, and access control systems.
Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, fault finding, and repairs on all surveillance and security hardware.
- Electrical & Renewable Energy Systems
Electrical Installation: Execute standard electrical wiring and installations for office environments.
Power Backup Solutions: Install and maintain inverters and battery backup systems to ensure uninterrupted power for critical IT infrastructure.
Solar Systems: Perform site assessments and full installations of solar panels and related solar technology.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Client Relations
Periodic PM: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance visits to client offices to proactively identify and resolve potential equipment failures.
