Position: Purchasing Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Collect pro forma from suppliers and negotiate prices prior to purchases.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to the storekeeper, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Cross-check prices from different suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Identify and distinguish legitimate suppliers from fraudulent ones.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
