Position 1: Marketing Executive

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Marketing Executive, you will support effective implementation of marketing strategies, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating and executing promotional activities and product positioning in line with region and/or segment direction in order to enhance brand awareness.

This roll is based in Addis Ababa and you will report to Sales & Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing plans
  • Manage and execute communication on relevant digital and social media, including company websites and intranet sites
  • Secure local implementation of concepts, product or brand strategies as well as targeted campaigns and launches
  • Assist in creating localised brand campaigns and activities
  • Responsible for implementation of local promotional programs
  • Manage external agencies
  • Responsible for providing market data for analysing sales performance and product positioning
  • Responsible for handling administrative marketing tasks such as legal approvals, documentation, etc.
  • Prepare and manage the ordering of marketing materials
  • Build relationship with relevant suppliers, customers or other stakeholders
  • Responsible for understanding sales performance and product positioning in the market by analysing market data
  • Responsible for increasing brand awareness by implementing Company’s strategies, policies and localizing regional initiatives to achieve targeted market share.

Position 2: Process Engineer

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Process Engineer, you will create and maintain optimized production processes/formulation which ensure the correct quality and quantity of products including Right First Time and stable throughput time.

This position is based in Adama, Adama Industrial Park and you will report to Operation Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Make formulations available for production with specific and optimised process parameters.
  • Update and change formulations as required from Group Research & Development
  • Support and coach production operators with process optimisation on daily basis
  • Optimise recipes to maintain competitiveness in the local market within the framework set by regional and global Research & Development
  • Give technical support and cooperate closely with maintenance
  • Follow up process and quality deviations
  • Investigate product complaints
  • Describe the local production process for sustainable training of operators

Qualification and Experience

  • BA degree in Engineering preferably Chemistry
  • Must have 1-3 years experience in paint manufacturing and process with good exposure to paint process, adjustments and trouble shooting.
  • Good understanding on Raw materials used in paint and their function.
  • Computer Knowledge, with exposure to ERP system; MS office

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Import Purchaser, you will execute and support import purchasing tasks as delegated in line with the policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material (RM), enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers.

This position is based in Adama Industrial Park, Adama & you will report to Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Import Purchase co-ordination
  • Ocean Freight co-ordination
  • Assist in local purchasing tasks
  • Align with internal stakeholders as relevant
  • Assist in evaluating optimal logistics solutions to support a cost-effective flow of goods to and from the site.
  • Assist in updating local parameters in the software as instructed
  • Support supplier invoice control in line with company guidelines.
  • Assist and support in tasks related to customs procedures and regulations
  • Follow up and report on agreed KPIs

Position 4: Sales Officer / Representative

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Sales Officer, you will support the Project Sales Manager in promoting and selling Jotun Products to new/existing customers. Developing strong customer relationships by utilizing Jotun sales tools and techniques to achieve budgeted sales with the aim of increasing Jotun market share and profitability.

This position is based in Addis Ababa and you will report to Project Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales manager to achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts, thereby contributing to the sales turnover.
  • Support to develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying the relevant customer needs, prioritizing initiatives and company resources to meet customers’ needs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, resolving problems, responding to queries (technical and commercial) as well as inspecting painting progress to ensure project completion on the agreed time and to obtain optimum coating performance.
  • Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups, and respond to inquiries to recommend and ensure Jotun is specified for the projects, thus creating sales opportunities for the company.
  • Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories and concept markets by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Jotun products are used to achieve the sales budget.
  • Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within an agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations and proposals to win new business and increase sales turnover and profitability with existing customers. Assists with securing orders for larger projects in conjunction with others as appropriate.
