Joytech PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Junior Accountant
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized University/College with no prior work experience.
OR Diploma in Accounting from a recognized University/College with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Sex: Female
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Accounting software and Excel spreadsheets
Thorough knowledge of spoken and written English (MUST)
Strong Microsoft Office skills (MUST)
Strong learning culture and positive attitude
Critical thinking and commitment to the profession
Cost consciousness
Self-initiator with a high degree of self-management
Strong communication in English
Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile cash receipts and sales transactions.
Maintain and reconcile customers’ ledgers.
Assist in organizing and preparing monthly tax declaration documents (VAT, income taxes, and withholding taxes) as required by the Ethiopian Revenue Office.
Prepare check payments.
Follow up on check payment activities.
Summarize and record petty cash transactions.
Ensure completeness and proper filing of financial documents.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Salary: Based on company salary scale
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Deadline: May 29, 2025
