Almost 40 years of global experience supports and informs JSI’s work in Ethiopia. Since 1994, JSI has worked in partnership with the government and local civil society organizations to support the Ethiopian government’s health and development priorities.
JSI is working in all regions across Ethiopia, in urban as well as rural areas—though most projects reach the largest population groups by focusing on the four most populous regions. Operationally, JSI has the integrity of strong management systems, combined with the flexibility of a decentralized structure that meets clients’ and partners’ needs.
JSI would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Data Science Intern
Education: Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Public Health Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and passing the exit exam is required.
Work Experience: Zero (0) years of professional experience required. This is an entry-level internship for new graduates.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Digital Health Intern
Education: Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and passing the exit exam is required.
Work Experience: Zero (0) years of professional experience required. This is an entry-level internship for new graduates.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Gender in Data, Digital Health and Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning Intern
Education: Fresh Bachelor degree graduate in Health System, Health Policy, Public Health or related disciplines.
GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and passing the exit exam is required.
Work Experience: Zero (0) years of professional experience required. This is an entry-level internship for new graduates.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
Location: Addis Ababa
