Position 1: Accountant
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily accounting and financial tasks, compile reports and reconcile accounts and other financial documents, participate in preparing financial statements, contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in reconciling various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information.
- Reconcile cash, check etc. balances on a daily basis.
- Take part in the process of posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Work with the senior accountants to correct accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments.
- Update accounts receivables and issue invoices as assigned.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations as assigned.
- Work with the senior accountants to update and maintain general ledger accounts by keeping close track of accounts receivable details and control accounts.
- Assist in verifying accuracy of cash received, cheque and withholding receipts reconciling with the invoice provided to the customer.
- Perform daily cash/cheque collections and follow up bank deposit reports and make necessary accounts reconciliations.
- Prepare check and petty cash payment vouchers according to financial guidelines as assigned.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations when performing financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS guidelines for preparing financial statements.
Job Requirements:

Qualification: BA in Finance and Accounting
Work Experience: 2 years in relevant role
Skills and Abilities:
Cash Register Machine
Good organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical ability
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Position 2: Purchaser
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order-to-order materials, goods and supplies.
- Receive approved requisitions, collect pro-forma invoices, and present it to the supervisor for approval.
- Prepare detailed offer analysis report based on approved pro-forma invoice.
- Prepare purchase order in the name of selected supplier based on approved offer analysis report,
- Ensure that purchases are made in the best interests of the company.
- Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis; make day-to-day follow up of each purchase order.
- Track the status of any orders, deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
- Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
- Prepare letters or messages for requesting offers, ordering placements to suppliers for signature of the appropriate manager.
- Ensure timely preparation of cheque or CPO to expedite purchasing activities.
- Deliver purchased items to the store through official goods receiving note of the company.
- Compile purchase related documents like pro forma invoice, approved offer analysis, copy of approved purchased order, receipts and GRN for submission to the Finance department for making necessary settlements.
- Prepares periodical reports for submission to the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Required Number: 1(One)
Qualification: Diploma in Purchasing or Supply management
Work Experience: Six (6) years in relevant role; female candidates are encouraging to apply.
Skills and Abilities:
Computer skill,
- Auto driving license
- Having experience on spare part purchasing (preferable)
- Communication skill (both verbal and written)
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting
Workplace: Kaliti Branch, Addis Ababa
Position 3: Driver, Service Bus
Job Requirements:
Required Number: 1(One)
Qualification: Grade 10th or 12th Complete
Work Experience: 4 years in relevant role with
Skills and Abilities:
4th Grade or Public 2 Driving License
Basic Vehicle Maintenance
Workplace: Gerji Head Office, Addis Ababa
