Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets.  Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Kerchanshe Trading Company would like to invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Senior HR Officer (Gelan Condominium Area)

Responsibility:

  • Be actively involve in recruitment by, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Assess training needs and development trainings manuals
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems at branch level
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Assist in performance management and employee evaluation
  • Drawing up plans for future personnel hiring procedures and goals
  • Ensure that all staff information are properly filed, updated and confidentiality is maintained
  • Update the quarterly recruitment tracking sheet and share to the concerned staff.
  • Create CV pool system that can be used for emergency recruitment.

  • Support other day to day HR activities

Job Requirements

Qualification:

BA degree in business management, public Administration, and HR management or related fields.  

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as Human Resource officer, preferably experience with a FMCG company and at least four year working experience as a senior HR officer.

  • Must be able to multi-task and is detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and requirement skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English, Amharic and other languages are more advantageous.
  • Ability screening, selecting, summarize and conducting an interview.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to work proactively and anticipate future needs or obstacles before they arise.
  • Demonstrate initiative in the work environment.

Position 2: Procurement Officer (Gelan Condominium Area)

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Diploma in Mechanics and Six years of direct experience, five years of procurement and value chain management, or five years of supply and logistics management.

  • Must be able to multi-task and is detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English, Amharic
  • Ability to read, interpret and summarize documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to work proactively and anticipate future needs or obstacles before they arise.
  • Demonstrate initiative in the work environment.
  • Flexible and team player.

Position 3: General Service Officer (Gelan Condominium Area)

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • BA degree in business management, public Administration, HR management ,Computer science  related fields

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of four years general service and property officer experience, preferably experience with a fast moving company and should have served as a general service  officer for minimum 2 years.

Skills Required:

  • Computer skills, Micro soft word and excel is essential
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret and summarize documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to work proactively and anticipate future needs or obstacles before they arise.
  • Demonstrate initiative in the work environment.
  • Flexible and team player.

Position 4: Accountant (Buna Qela)

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills:

  • BA degree in Accounting & Finance, financial accounting   and other related field of studies from a recognized university or a master’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience out of this at least one and above year in NGOs with Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or  Accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • high level of integrity and accountability, serious and hard-working, eager to learn, good feedback mentality, strong communications skills, very structured, team player
  • Candidates are required to have good references and who have worked for an international company or have experience in a NGO are preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Planning and organizing skill
  • Problem solving and decision making skill
  • Excellent and demonstrated skill in computer MS word, excel, power point, outlooks , emails, Good experience of Peachtree Accounting Software and able to plan effectively and efficiently.
  • Good written and verbal skills in the English language, Amharic and Afan Oromo
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Basic proven managerial skill. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • He /She must be comfortable in being a proactive member of the department and seek to identify and communicate potential problems and propose solutions to the level of management appropriate to effect solutions.
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities independently with minimal technical support from within the organization and Ability to work under demanding environment.
  • Patient and good communicator who can function in an organizational environment involving a diversity of cultures, languages, and personal interests and agendas.

Other Duties:

  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the financial and accounting system by providing recommendation to supervisor for consideration on specific areas that could be improved.
  • Contribute to teamwork and team play.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

  • Knowledge of project and team management principles.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Position 6: Senior Compliance and Financial Auditor

Job Requirements

Qualification:
