Position 1: Senior Private Sector Advisor

Job Summary

Working closely with the Quality Health Systems Team Lead and reporting to Private Sector Support Lead, the Senior Private Sector Advisor will provide technical and programmatic direction to the private sector engagement strategy and activities in QHA. He/she will be a prime technical support contact between the USAID/QHA team and the MSI-Reproductive Choice.

Qualification Requirement

a. Education

  MPH/MBA with health/health-related background

b. Experiences  

Eight years of hands-on experience

  • Knowledge and experience in the private sector quality health care engagement, including new initiatives like CBHI
  • Good appreciation of the issues of provision of reproductive health care services.
  • Understanding major policies/issues of government health policies, regional policies

  • Ability to proceed on own initiative using independent judgment
  • Good facilitation, presentation, team building, and coordination skills.

Position 2: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Functionally working closely with the Senior Private sector advisor& Quality Health Systems Team, and reporting to the Private sector advisor, the Quality assurance specialist, will provide technical and programmatic direction on the facility readiness, quality assurance management, and standards in QHA-supported woredas. The specialist will play a key contribution to the implementation of the private sector initiatives that are mainstreamed in the major quality improvements of QHA,  for facility readiness, and quality management, including private facilities in conflict-affected areas. At the WHO level, the focus will be the Supervision implementation of PPMix guidelines, Quality Improvement (QI) collaboratives and review meetings/learning sessions, strengthening the use of DHIS2 expanding membership towards sustained quality, and Business to business support.

Qualification Requirement

a. Education

MSC/MPH with health/health-related background

b. Experiences  

Four years of related experience

  • Knowledge and experience in RMNCH clinical quality assurance in the private sector, including new initiatives like CBHI
  • Experience in providing clinical training, coaching, and mentoring, c in RMNCH services

  • Strong technical skills in RMNCH services and customer services

Position 3: Private Sector Support Specialist

Job Summary

Functionally working closely with the Senior Private Sector Advisor and reporting to the private sector support lead will provide technical and programmatic support to the planning, implementation, and evaluations of the private sector engagement strategy and activities in the USAID/QHA project

Nursing/HO/ MPH with health/health-related background

b. Experiences  

Six years of hands-on experience

Position 4: Advocacy Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

Under immediate supervision of Deputy Country Director-Programs and technical support from SO Senior Advocacy Lead, the Advocacy Specialist plays a crucial role in enabling the achievement of MSIE’s programs advocacy activities and project deliverable and advocacy milestones.

Education Qualification:

  • University Degree in Health Science, Social Science, or International Development Management; master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Fluent English both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Health, Community Outreach, Family Planning, Social Marketing and Social Franchising
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Word, Power Point presentation and Excel (essential).

Experience / Knowledge (essential/desirable

  • At least Six years’ relevant experience, three of which must be related to Advocacy and Policy work
  • Demonstrated record in engaging and influencing senior policymakers, donors and civil society agencies to deliver strategic advocacy outcomes.
  • Established and network of relationships with politicians, decision makers, and international agencies within Ethiopia.
  • Experience in planning of advocacy campaigns and events
  • Experience in dealing with press requests
  • Experience in working with women and youth network groups
  • Good knowledge of the health sector in Ethiopia an important advantage (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills – excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to organise and present information in a compelling way.
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of both local and government policies.

Position 5: Youth & Community Mobilization Officer

JOB SUMMARY

 Youth and Community Mobilization Specialist will work under the supervision of DCD-Programs will follow youth and community related project activities within Marie Stopes core business and project deliverables.  The job holder works closely with Area Program Managers, private health sector support lead, senior advocacy Manager s and other key stakeholders to ensure the attainment of youth and community programing goals and objectives.  This role has a focus on ensuring that the project activities are well coordinated, that team outputs are of a high standard and meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders

Qualification’s requirements

MPH/MBA or BSc/BA in public Health with at least six years of relevant experience or

Experience

  • Training or education in delivery of youth related programs and/or youth program development or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is preferable.
  • Substantial youth and community work experience.
  • Skill in demand generation and community mobilization/engagement, strengthening service; delivery projects, training, performance and quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating donor-funded projects;
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentations skills in English;
  • Experience in capacity-building activities, preferably across a diverse group of individuals; 
  • Experience in writing and editing documents/papers;
  • Experience within family planning and reproductive health is desirable.

JOB SUMMARY

 Reporting to the Marie stopes Senior Manager for project and grant management, and working with programs and MIS team, the M&E officer, supports project specific deliverables. He/she evaluate the effectiveness of projects planning and implementation and support overall project coordination. The position requires frequent domestic travel to oversee project activities.

Qualification Requirement:

a. Education

MA or MSc/BA Degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Demography or equivalent

a. Experience

2 years for MA/MSc, 4 years for BA/BSc in

  • Qualitative and quantitative research
  • Project Management
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Statistics, HMIS/Health Management Information System

Position 7: Driver Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY

Under immediate supervision of Finance and Administration Officer OR Fleet Manager, the Driver Mechanic drives vehicles, ensures that the vehicle is in good working conditions, keeps the tools safely, keeps the vehicle clean and presentable, and ensures the timely annual inspection and road-worthiness certificate acquisitions, records daily movement mileages.

Qualification Requirements

a.      Education:

Diploma in Auto mechanics or 10th complete certificate with 3rd Grade or Public I, Driving License

b. Experience

Two years of experience for Diploma and six years for 10th complete certificate
