Position 1: Field Program Manager
Job Requirements
EDUCATION
BSC or MA/MSC in Program management, Business Administration, and other related field of studies.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of eight year(s) relevant work experience for BSC and six years for MA/MSC/MBA in program management.
- Having relevant experience on Emergency program management and coordination in international and national NGOs.
- Knowledge in muti-sectoral humanitarian responses.
- Experience in managing and coordinating diverse donors (particularly BHA/USAID and UNOCHA/EHF, ECHO, WFP grants) funded humanitarian programs is preferred.
- Ability to manage and work in a team consisting of people with different technical backgrounds and varying levels of technical training.
- Ability to facilitate relationships and interact smoothly and effectively with partners including government sectoral offices, Cluster coordinators, and peer organizations at field level.
- Having strong organizational experience and managerial skills.
- Ability to undertake problem analyses and gather diverse information in a systematic way to improve design, implementation, and reporting of emergency interventions.
- Experience working in the relevant geographic areas and regions, with strong contextual knowledge of relevant cultures and clans.
- Excellent communicator in English with demonstrated report writing and speaking skills, knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.
- Proven experience in Crisis/ Conflict Management.

Position 2: Health and Nutrition Specialist
Job Requirements
Education:
BSC in public health, nursing and other health sciences plus Bsc in Public Health or Nutrition.
Organizational Learning: As part of our commitment to organizational learning and in support of our understanding that learning organizations are more effective, efficient, and relevant to the communities they serve – we expect all team members to commit 5% of their time to learning activities that benefit Mercy Corps as well as themselves.
Knowledge and Experience:
- More than four year(s) of relevant experience on emergency health and nutrition responses.
- Experience in managing health and nutrition responses in the community level preferable in pastoralist and semi-pastoralist areas.
- Knowledge in humanitarian response particularly in pastoralist community.
- Experience in implementing diverse donor programs is preferred.
- Ability to manage and work in a team consisting of people with different technical backgrounds and varying levels of technical training.
- Ability to facilitate relationships and interact smoothly and effectively with partners including government HEW, HWs, and Health center managers, Cluster coordinators, and peer organizations at field level.
- Ability to undertake problem analyses and gather diverse information in a systematic way to improve design, implementation, and reporting Health & Nutrition interventions.
- Having strong analytical ability and report writing skill is essential.
English fluency is essential.

Position 3: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning officer
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
● BA/S or equivalent, preferable in business administration, public administration or international development.
● 2-4 years M&E experience
● Previous experience working on USAID funded programs preferred
● Relevant experience in field survey/data collection techniques, data entry, data verification, and analysis
● Good understanding and skills at data management.
● Strong computer literacy with a full knowledge of MS Office applications.
● Strong team coordination, listening, and consensus building skills.

Position 4: Logistics Assistant
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
● BA/S or equivalent, preferable in business administration, public administration or international development.
● 2-4 years M&E experience
● Previous experience working on USAID funded programs preferred
● Relevant experience in field survey/data collection techniques, data entry, data verification, and analysis
● Good understanding and skills at data management.
● Strong computer literacy with a full knowledge of MS Office applications.
● Strong team coordination, listening, and consensus building skills.

Position 5: Driver
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3rd Grade or above Valid Driving License.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Driver preferably in an International NGO.
- Experience in repairing Vehicles (Auto background) is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in both Amharic & English languages and knowledge of other local language is preferred.
- Knowledge of routes, duty stations, project areas, the NGO and diplomatic community is required.

- Motivated and committed.
- Flexible and willing to work under pressure, outside normal office hours and during weekends.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and appropriate flexibility.

- Skills like Safety Management, Problem Solving, Dealing with Complexity, Analyzing Information

Position 6: Logistics Assistant
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Five years and more experience in Procurement, Administration and Logistics Management in the non-profit organizations and mainly experience gained in INGO is required.
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management/Management/ Business Administration/ Accounting/Marketing is required.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly in word and Excel
- Prior management experience and strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written English and Somali language.
