Since its establishment, the Board has organized different branch offices at both the federal and regional levels including the two administrative cities. The NEBE has conducted five national elections, two local elections, and six referendums.
Since January 2019, in an effort to reform NEBE, the House of Peoples’ Representatives enacted a new proclamation that reduced the management board to five members that serve full time for a period of six years. According to Proclamation no.1133/2019, the board has the following powers and duties.
National Election Board of Ethiopia would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Media Monitoring Expert
Education and Work Experience:
Master or BA degree in Journalism, Communication, Statistics or any other relevant fields
5 years for Masters or 7 years for BA
Mandatory trainings and certification
News features, Statistics
Knowledge:
Knowledge of Media monitoring tools
Knowledge of data interpretation
Report writing skills
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Asset Management Expert
Education and Work Experience:
MA or BA degree or in supply Chain management, Procurement, Logistics or accounting field.
7 years and Bachelor | 5 years and Masters on related position
Knowledge:
Knowledge of people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches and models
Supply Chain & logistics concepts and application (Ethiopian Labour Law and employment related regulations, Property administration Policies, procedures, modern practices, approaches and trends)
Shall have the knowledge of IF-MIS & EREP Software training.
Mandatory training on Team leadership, change management, Human resource management
know how to perform analysis and interpretation of data
Ability to manage time
100% accurate data entry and order processing
Relationship building and communication
Maximizing customer sanctification through teamwork
Persuasion
Not a member of a political party.

Position 3: ICT Network Administration Expert
Education and Work Experience:
MA or BA degree or in in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 years and Bachelor | 5 years and Masters on Hands-on experience with networking hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
Certification in a network related professional is desirable
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
Knowledge of cloud services and virtualized environments.
Proficiency in various operating systems, particularly Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
Strong skills in documenting network configurations, policies, and procedures.

Position 4: Head, HRM department
Education and Work Experience:
MA degree or PHD in HRM or Management or Business administration or Business management or public administration and development management
10 years for Masters or 8 years for PHD (4 years in leadership position) In HR administration or development related job positions
Knowledge:
Knowledge of people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches and models
Human Resource concepts and application (Ethiopian Labour Law and employment related regulations, HR Policies, procedures, modern practices, approaches and trends)
Knowledge of HR metrics
Not a member of a political party.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 5: Deputy Head, Procurement Management department
Education and Work Experience:
Master or BA degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, management, Economics, purchasing and supplies management, Marketing or other relevant studies
9 years for BA Degrees or 7 years for Masters (4 years in leadership position)
In procurement and contract administration related job positions
Mandatory trainings and certification
Public Procurement Administration Advanced Level Professionalization Training, IMIS Purchasing Modul, e-GP, Team leadership and professional certifications like certified professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
