Position 1: Environmental Health & Safety Specialist
Purpose:
Under the supervision of the EHS Manager, assists the overall planning, development and implementation of Environment, Health and Safety initiatives, assist in conducting incident investigation and root cause analysis, conduct risk assessment and proposes operational controls.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Assists in planning, directing and controlling the company’s EHS activities; follow up the implementation of EHS policies and procedures in LOCs.
- Assist in the implementation of risk assessment and proposes operational controls, conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis and action plan formulation.
- Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and shortcomings minimized and corrected, maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements; assist in the control of legal requirements (licenses, reports),
- Assess and Identify safety and environmental hazardous and report with remedial proposal; implement waste management programs; follow emission smokes, dust and gas to air,
- Set minimum programs and procedures in line with EHS standards; Develop emergency response plan, produce KPI action plan and performance reports.

Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and up on Manager’s request.
Education:
BA/BSc/MA/MSc or MBA degree in occupational health & science, Environmental health Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field
Work Experience:
Experience of 4 (four) years for Bachelor and 2 years for Master’s holders in safety environment or health.

Position 2: Cost Accountant Specialist
Purpose:
Under the direction of Materials Cost Planning & Inventory Manager, ensures the proper recording, reconciliation, and analysis of make pack department materials consumption, inventory, price, waste, and provisions.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Plan, organize and directly control and maintain proper NTM cost valuation for the factory.
- Follows up, records, reconciles, analyses, and prepares usage & wastage reports for make pack raw materials alongside with receiving, issuance, consumption by brand and comparison with standards.
- Timely updates NTM purchase order files and records, identifies freight costs and duties for each imported material and calculates monthly inventory coverages in accordance with materials requirement planning (MRP) with volume forecasts.
- Participates in periodical stock taking, proposes NTM storage handling improvements, inventory adjustments, prepare shelf-life data base for NTM’s and provisions with age analysis.
- Supports the financial analyst with respect to NTM cost management for new launches, and performs other related tasks as required.
- Prepare monthly and year end actual product cost for statuary reporting submission.
- Provide required explanation and documentation for variances between actual and standard product cost.
- Support the Tax department by providing appropriate documentation and explanation during Tax and customs audit.
- Liaise with entity finance to have on time & accurate recording of transactions to streamline the periodical closing process.
- Support in the preparation of monthly product costing required for statutory purposes.
- Assist in preparation of OL’s, LE’s and ASP’s for NTM’s.
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.
Education:
MA or BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
Partly or fully qualified ACCA or Chartered Accountancy Qualification highly recommended
Work Experience:
Five years’ minimum experience within Finance in Fast Moving Consumer Goods with major Regional or Global Group Reporting Requirements.
Three (3) years of experience for MA or ACCA holders
Knowledge:
- MS Office- confident user
- Microsoft Navision
- SAP Basic Working Knowledge
