National Insurance Company of Ethiopia S.C would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following Positions.

Position 1: Human Resource Management (HRM) Department Director

Job Summery:

Director, HRM Department is in charge of human resource planning, procurement function (recruitment, selection & orientation), training & development, compensation and workforce diversity that should contribute to the Company.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: A minimum of BA or MA/MBA in HRM, in Management, Business Management, Public Administration, Leadership and other field of studies.

Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 8 years of work experience with at least 4 years’ service at supervisory or managerial level, again, out of which, at least 2 years of experience in Human Resource Management.

Job grade: XIII

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience of Insurance operation at front line, in Insurance Cos.
  • Works independently with little supervision, and strong team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good level of interpersonal skill to coach subordinates and consult superiors in the areas of insurance policies. Project management and financial management skills.
  • High moral standard and ethical values.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Having proactive approach to meet Co’s Strategy & Experienced in Succession activities
  • Inspired to bring changes, handling multi tasks, flexible & has leadership skill
  • Able to make continuation of the Co’s Vision & perseverance to work under immense pressure

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Branches’ Management Department – Director

JOB SUMMERY

The key focus of the role is to serve as primary contact and communication between the Head office and the Branches, implement new strategies and initiatives set out by the head office, to meet Co’s Strategic Objectives, as well provide regular support required from the Head Office, mentor, motivate, monitor, evaluate and manage the branch’s performance and successes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualification: BA/MA/MSC/MBA Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics or related field of discipline.

Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 8 years of work experience in insurance, of which a minimum of 6 years of experience shall be in managerial capacity, out of which at least 4 years of experience as Division Manager or equivalent in Insurance Operations or Insurance Business Support or Coordinating & Supporting branches or related areas

Job grade: XIV

Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience of Insurance operation at front line, in Insurance Cos.
  • Works independently with little supervision, and strong team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Position 3: Executive Secretary

JOB SUMMERY

The job holder is responsible for the administration of the CEO’s office; performs tasks of highly

responsible secretarial work; composes correspondence; schedules appointments for meetings; arranges travel schedules and reservations; takes minutes of meetings; receives and places telephone, fax and telex messages; receives visitors; answers routine business questions and queries; schedules appointments as well as willing to support the Executive Management members on similar activities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:  BA degree/ Diploma/Advanced diploma in Secretarial Science and Office Management, Information Technology, Law and related fields from a recognized higher institution

Work Experience:  Must have a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience for BA degree, 10 years for advanced diploma and 11 years for diploma in Office Management in institutions/ firms, preferably, out of it 6 years of experience shall be as Senior, out of which at least 4 years of experience as Executive Secretary or equivalent

Job grade: IX

Preferred Skills

  • having good modern secretary experience, team work sprit, create conducive area
  • good ethical behavior & customer handling and serving quality approach skill,
  • willingness to work under immense pressure & accept changes and implement it;
  • Maintains files of correspondence and other materials of a confidential nature;
  • Ensures the safekeeping, efficient handling and usage of office equipment and supplies;
  • No prior disciplinary records, recommended or accepted for the position
