Omo Microfinance is edging closer in its bid to transform into a bank. It is the third microfinance institution to make such a move, after Amhara and Oromia saving & credit institutions.
Omo was one of the five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia, along with Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit. These institutions account for 82.6pc of the total capital, 90pc of the savings, and 85.9pc of the credit provided in the microfinance market. Omo mobilised over seven billion Birr in deposits last year, bringing its aggregate to 36 billion Br.
Position 1. Call Center Agent
Qualifications: BSc/BA in Management, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, Graduated only in 2024 & 2025 Year
Experience: 0 Years

Place of Work: Head Office
Position 2. IT Security Officer I
Qualifications: MSc/BSc in computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or any related field
Experience: 1/2 Years of IT or Information Security experience
Certificate Requirement: Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH (Entry-level), ISO 27001 Foundation, Network+

Position 3: Call Center Supervisor
Qualifications: BSc/BA in Management, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Experience: 4/5 Years of relevant experience

Place of Work: Head Office
Position 4: Senior DFS Reconciliations & Settlements Officer
Qualifications: MA/BA in Management, Accounting, Economics or related field
Experience: 4/5 Years of relevant experience
